El has been with the site for nearly two years now and has continued to prove her value. Currently, she is heading up our site event, Battle for Liberterram, on top of keeping up with her own personal plots.
Lux's posts are all wonderful to read. She has done a wonderful job of grasping the new universe and incorporating Peggy into it.
It's good to see Spidey back on the site. Watching him deal with the universe shift in his own snarky way has been nothing short of entertaining.
Eight O'Clock on the Dot!
El and Lux are making magic in this thread. Straight up fireworks, and the way they've played with drawing out the reveal is top class.
Wings- Megan has these beautiful, iridescent butterfly/dragonfly like wings. They are attached between her shoulder blades and enable her to fly. They are fragile, and are as thin as they look. Although they are large enough to sustain her own flight, it is increasingly hard for her to fly carrying someone or other cargo.
Hallucinogenic Dust- Pixie’s wings produce her own pixie dust that causes visual and auditory hallucinations. For the most part, the hallucinations are pleasant ad consist of rainbows, teddy bears, and unicorns. Megan cannot control the content of the hallucinations. The Dust effects take place when it is inhaled or through skin to skin contact.
Limited Magical Abilities- Megan has limited abilities in spells and magic. Although it has grown quite a bit since she was younger, Megan is still constantly learning new spells. One of the most frequent spells she uses is teleportation, which allows her to teleport herself and others instantaneously to other places in the world. This also includes travel to other planes of existence (ex. Asgard, Hel). Traveling to the different realms creates a dangerous situation for her, given that the spell takes so much out of her and puts her in a coma for a couple of days and depletes magic reserves, leaving her stranded and even helpless in other realms for at least a week. Pixie has also learned how to banish demons, and procure a soul dagger (which literally contains parts of her soul). The dagger harms magical creatures only and disrupts magical constructs. In disrupting magical entities, Megan is only able to tear a hole in the fabric to see the reality, and is unable to destroy levels of magic higher than her own.
Flying- Megan enjoys flight. It is something a lot of people wish they could do, soar above the clouds like birds and to skip traffic. It is therapeutic for her and nothing beats the wind in her hair.
Singing- This is a skill that Megan developed after hanging out with Dazzler for far too long. She would sing back up for the pop star and found herself loving it. Recently she has been writing her own material, but is too scared to perform any of it. Megan often hums and sings to herself whenever she is working on something or alone.
Dressing up- Nicknamed ‘Girly girl’ by Wolverine, Megan is often found with new accessories and outfits to keep up with the changing trends. She loves curling her pink hair and wearing different things, and I always planning themed parties.
Practicing Magic- Magic is one of those things that is limitless, and the more you know the better off you are. Megan practices magic as much as possible, it keep her mind sharp and her repertoire ever growing.
Learning- Going hand in hand with her love of practicing magic, Megan enjoys learning. It can be magic, a new game or sport, or just picking up a new language. Learning new things keeps Megan busy, which is good because she hates being bored.
Playing Pranks- Although very easily scared, Megan loves to pull small pranks on people. This usually involves cotton candy, a banana peel, or even her hallucinogenic dust. Just ask Wolverine, he knows all too well what her dust can do in good fun.
Bug Zappers- For obvious reasons, Megan hates these death traps. They scare the crap out of her, and think they are cruel.
Mutant Hate- Megan has more obvious mutations, granted they can be considered ‘pretty’, it still never stopped people from hating her for what she was. She has been called many colorful things, but none of them compare to what she has heard them call people she loved and care about at the mansion. Pixie is passionate about mutant rights and is often found in heated debates with people who hate ‘her kind’.
Large Dogs- Being as tiny as she is, five feet none and weighing in at ninety pounds, any dog larger than her scares the beejeezus out of her. It isn’t a paralyzing fear or anything, but she isn’t fond of being knocked over or drooled on.
Lies- Megan is a trusting person, and she likes to think that others are like her. This makes her extremely susceptible to lies, which she hates. Pixie wants to believe that people can be the best they can, but in reality it isn’t true. She avoids lies and lying as much as possible, but the betrayal of lying cuts her the deepest.
The Dark- After what happened to her father, Megan had nightmares of the darkness, consuming her and swallowing her whole. For two years she had to sleep with the light on and the door open, since then her fear has subsided but she really dislikes the dark and avoids it as much as possible.
Being Underestimated- Given her size and non-menacing appearing, Megan is often underestimated when it comes to a lot of things. Her hand to hand combat isn't the best, but she tries to stick up for herself the best she can. Being underestimated also leads to over compensation on her part, where Megan pushes herself further than she should and takes on tasks and fights that she can't win.
Optimism- Megan is painfully optimistic. She likes the see the brighter side of things, and refuses to back down until she is utterly defeated. To her, everything is glass half full.
Quick Learner- Learning is something she enjoys, and because she keeps herself busy, she is a quick learner. This aids her extremely in learning spells and coming up with battle plans, as well as being quick on her feet in tough situations. Though she keeps her mind busy, the faster she learns the more she has to feed her brain.
Stubborn- Pixie is steadfast in her ways. She has a strong moral compass and sticks to it, no matter what. Megan isn’t easily swayed when it comes to her opinions and positions, and makes sure it is known. She prides herself in being trustworthy and dependable, which she believes is a necessity for being in a team like the X-Men.
Wings- Although Megan considers her mutation a gift, it can also be a curse. Her wings are fragile, almost paper thin and full of nerves. If they tear or break, it is extremely painful for her and takes time to heal, much like a broken bone. The only thing is, she can’t put a cast on her wings. Megan can ease the pain and quicken the healing with magic, but nothing is ever instantaneous.
Stubborn- Her stubborn translates to dependable and unwavering, but it can also be a downfall. Megan can become stuck with an idea and refuse to let it go, which can cause for some problems, especially if it is wrong. Not that she doesn’t like being proven wrong, but she doesn’t like knowing that what she believed was false.
Magical Limitations- Though her knowledge of spells has increased since she first learned of her abilities, there is a limit. Megan has wide capabilities but isn’t all knowing. Magic takes lifetimes to perfect, and she knows she will never know everything.
Become a teacher at Xavier’s Institute- Megan worshipped her mentor, Rahne, when she arrived at the mansion. She has a passion for learning and for mutant rights, and wants to give back as much as she can to the community she loves. Megan can teach, and she hopes that once she is done seeing the word as an X-Men she can go back to the mansion and help out others who ran away from home and to help them learn how she learned.
To see mutants become accepted- Being one of the mutants with a visible mutation, she knows what it is like to feel the brunt end of the hate from humans. Megan learned about the community and the school through a protest, and continues to frequent them in order to help support the cause and to help them become a more integrative part of society.
To settle down- Despite being adventurous, Megan has an ideal nagging in the back of her head. She adored her childhood in the countryside with forests surrounding her house, running around barefoot in the moss. She wants to go back to that eventually, maybe even get married and have little pink haired children of her own to run around and chase faeries.
To become depowered- Despite everything that she has endured due to her pink hair, wings, and little elf ears, Megan loves being a mutant. She loves it because they make her special, they make her unique. And not only that but they give her a unique opportunity, her powers allow her to help people. Whether it is helping a little girl getting a cat out of a tree or saving the world from inter dimensional demons, Megan loves to help. Without her powers, she can’t help people, and that scares her. Megan doesn’t want to lose such a big part of her identity, and it is her biggest fear.
OVERALL PERSONALITY: Pixie’s personality is like that of, well, a pixie. She is friendly and sweet, and voted most friendly out of the entire mansion. She is very bubbly and is almost always this way, constantly flitting around from person to person making easy conversation. Despite all this, she is easily frightened but it not too timid. Megan falls sucker to pranks all the time, and if you jump out at her in the right moment she squeaks like a mouse. Megan makes friends quickly and can lead a team, though many find that she is a little quirky and a bit scatterbrained when it comes to leading missions on her own. Megan can be authoritative, sometimes demanding, though she tries to not come across like a spoiled brat. Still young, she loves to do silly things like go to carnivals and play hide and seek even though they may be considered childish. Pixie is a people person, and at that a very affectionate person. Once she decides she likes you, that’s it. She will hug you every time she sees you, and if you get sucked in you may become a cuddle buddy.
One downside is when Megan uses the Souldagger her personality changes. Given the fact that the dagger is literally pieces of her soul, every time she uses it she can feel a hole in herself that she can never change. When using the dagger she becomes mean and bitter, and very angry, snapping at people and stalking off. The more she uses the dagger, the longer the effects linger. It is very rare that she be caught in an off mood when not using the Souldagger, and it mostly likely means something terrible has happened to kill her usually bubbly mood.
Xavier’s School for the Gifted, though is currently in New York as Professor X makes negotiations to have an X-Men team join with SHIELD.

Regan Wyngarde (Lady Mastermind)- Half Sister (Unknown to her) Martiniqe Wyngarde (Mastermind)- Half Sister (Unknown to her)
Xavier is an obvious person that Pixie considers important, but also Rhane Sinclair, who was her first mentor. Recently, she had an encounter with Baldr, in which he saved her from being crushed to death and/or pelted by heavy objects. She has had a reoccurring thought of him, which is residue of a knight in shining armor complex she was sure was ridiculous.
Megan Gwynn was born in Abergylid, a small mining town in Wales. Her father was a miner and her mother was a stay at home mom. Megan was an only child, and grew up mostly outside running around the surrounding countryside. She would help around the house and with the small dairy her mother took care of, but loved to spend her time in the forests around her house. As a young girl she would wander in the woods to just escape. She would go barefooted and trounce through the small creeks and play with all the wildlife she could get her hands on. Megan would come home covered in dirt and her mother would just shake her head and run a bathe. She was never chastised for being dirty, but instead her mother would ask her what adventures she had gotten into that day and which fantasy creatures she had seen and met. Her imagination was endless, and it was apparent in the tales she told.
When it was time to go to school, Megan was at first apprehensive. She didn’t want to leave her mother alone, but was forced anyways. At school, Megan realized how small she was compared to the other kids. And, as cruel as school children are, they began to pick on her. That first day of school Megan came home crying, wanting to never go back. Her mother forced her to go back, and it wasn’t until her 13th birthday that she was allowed to not go back to school.
It started with an odd pain in her back, which was more like an itching and burning sensation. Before Megan knew it, she had sprouted wings. Completely scared, yet elated, she showed her mother, who thought it was due to all the time she spent in the forest and that she was blessed by the faeries. The wings were tiny at first, but soon grew to a proportionate size. As they grew it was almost like she was molting, each smaller pair shedding and becoming larger and larger. In addition to this, her once pale blonde hair was turning pink. First she thought it was a trick of the light, but it soon turned to a full cotton candy pink within a couple of days. Megan knew that she couldn’t go back to school, so she stayed home, trying to figure out what to do with the wings. After only having a few weeks to get accustomed to her wings, there was a terrible accident.
The mine her father worked in had collapsed, and her father had died inside. Megan became deathly scared of the mine so close to her house. She refused to go outside like she had done thousands of times before. She also refused to sleep with the lights off, fearing the nightmares that would come with the darkness that had so similarly swallowed up her father. After months of depression and sequestering, Megan packed up and ran away. It was hard hiding her wings, but she managed to hide them until she reached the United States, hiding on an amusement cruise ship as an animated character. Once on US soil in New York, she stumbled across a mutant protest. Megan figured out that there was a safe haven for her kind, the ones who were different. Following some of the mutants, she found the secret hideaway that must have been an oasis. She kept to the woods for days hiding away and stealing food when she could, until she finally worked up the courage to enter the academy.
After a few years at the academy, Megan graduated and officially became an X-Men. It wasn’t all roses and butterflies like she had thought it would be, but she got through it. Megan loves the institute and all the people inside of it. She would go out on missions with her fellow X-Men, and in certain cases it was her that saved the world. And in other cases, it was her that was the one in trouble. On a mission to Hel to recover Magik, Megan was cut off from the team. Illyana was planning on making a soul sword, using literal pieces of soul to forge her weapon. Megan was the target, it was deemed that her soul was the purest and most innocent of them all. Magik tore two chunks of her soul from the Pixie before her team intervened and saved her. Though she recovered physically, Megan knew that there was something missing. She hid it from people the best she could, but one time when frustrated in the Danger Room a dagger appeared in her hand. It was a miniature version of the soul sword Illyana was trying to create, and she could summon it when she pleased. Though, this did not come without a price. Megan loses memory of what happens when she uses the dagger, and when she stops she is in the foulest mood. Since then she tries to limit the use of the dagger, less of a burden on others and less of a reminder that pieces of her soul are missing.
With the events that had taken place in New York, Megan knew that something had to change. It wasn’t long after the Chitauri invasion that Charles summoned her and a handful of other X-Men to New York. Megan knew about the Avengers and the general story, but she had yet to hear it from anyone who was there first hand (save the news). Excited, she packed her bags and headed for New York, wondering what life would be like joining SHIELD as an X-Men, and what sort of new monsters she would be fighting.
