Eight O'Clock on the Dot!
El and Lux are making magic in this thread. Straight up fireworks, and the way they've played with drawing out the reveal is top class.
Along the coastline of Antarctica is a necropolis dating back to pre-Atlantean mermani. This labyrinth is walled-off and abandoned as "old city" with entry forbidden. The rest of the city carries only a small population to maintain the grave sites.
The sister to Atlantis' Capital City on the north-western arm of Antarctica is mostly subterranean, with only an airport above ground. Powered by volcanic vents, it is carved out from the surrounding rock and boasts both human and mermani inhabitants.
The world’s southernmost continent belongs to the Atlanteans; both the human Atlanteans that have taken the oath of fealty to the nation, and the ethnic Atlanteans. A few human settlements dot the northernmost portions of the continent where the climate is slightly more forgiving, and technology helps keep the cities safe and habitable year round. Other coastal territories are strictly forbidden for any to enter, as they house ancient Atlantean tombs, and disturbing the sites is considered a taboo.
