Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
As the Bifrost rainbow cloud shimmered back through the sky to where it came, Kelda shook out her long locks and rose from her crouch on the ground. She didn’t think that the new Allfather would mind her visiting Midgard again and if he did, she could just remind him politely that she still remembered him running around on chubby, unsteady legs sucking his thumb. For the world trees sake, she’d been an adult and governing her own residence far before he had even been a twinkle in his mothers eye. She’d been one of his teachers after all, so she liked to think that still held some importance to the God of Thunder. Regardless, now she was here and he couldn’t exactly complain [or waste the manpower in hunting her down and convincing her to come home]. Turning once and then once again in the opposite direction, big blue eyes studied the terrain around her and decided that she liked it here, where she had landed. Brushing the dirt around with her foot to smudge the burn marks on the ground from her portal, she grinned widely and then took to the skies with a whiff of wind.
Hovering above the ground, she straightened out so she was floating upright and stretched lazily, taking her time to enjoy the sensations of her body flexing and adjusting to the new atmosphere. Breathing in deep, her silver hair drifted around her like a curtain as the winds whipped up and the sky around her started to melt from grey and overcast to a soft blue as sum started to appear. It was an old habit of hers from her abilities, blue skies appearing as her happiness increased and she was quite happy right now. She’d missed Midgard; the last time she had been back, she had been happy. Her days had been spent learning and exploring the new lands, the nights happy and secure in the arms of a man. He had been...soft, she reminisced; not hard and wiry and muscled like Asgardians but gentler and softer. She could have broken his bones with a single punch but his apparent weakness had been his strength instead. Kelda sighed deeply, her brow slightly knitting together as the sun twinkled back.
The pensive mood was soon gone though, as she remembered that this was a happy occasion. Grinning again, she pushed herself slightly higher and then began to dance along with the wind currents. Arms outstretched delicately and gracefully, long hair flowing around her, her blue clothing sparkled and glowed in the sun as she stepped and spun and wove around, her bare feet above the ground at the height of an average humans shoulders.
