Imagine a world where chaos and destruction has become the new
reality: each passing moment is a struggle for survival as violence
rocks against the land like waves crashing against a rocky shore.
The wizarding world is almost unrecognizable; historic landmarks
such as Big Ben and the London Eye have been bombed and the
powerful magical enchantments concealing the wizarding world are
broken. Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic were set ablaze, and
in a matter of hours the death toll had risen into the hundreds. The
unthinkable has occurred: the wizarding world has been exposed.
Despite Ministry efforts to conceal themselves again and distract
from the revelation, a few select muggles, led by the muggleborn
witch Annabelle Marlow, are responsible for the majority of this
continued exposure. The Muggle Rebellion wanted the wizards forced
out of the shadows, and while their attack on the Ministry might have
failed, the fear and realizations that followed linger. The wizarding
world and the muggle world are not ready to coexist. Maybe they
never will be. The wizarding world is mostly quiet... too quiet. The
Rebellion is disbanded, and Marlow is in jail, but nothing stays so
calm for long. The Death Eaters continue to subtly take control of
country after country. Their quiet approach has led many to believe
that they are gone for good, and those who know better are powerless
to stop their forces before they inevitably make an attempt on England.
The wizarding world is on the brink of another catastrophe, not
approaching with guns blazing, but working its way through the
foundations. Everything we hold dear is about to crumble beneath us.
