STRANGE The SORCERER SUPREME (wiki) Abilities: MAGIC; CLOAK OF LEVITATION suggested fc: ODED FEHR, Aidan gillen, NESTOR CARBONELL, richard armitage, PEDRO PASCAL, keanu reeves, OR IRRFAN KHAN | Doc Strange! He's one of my favorite characters of all time, and I'd genuinely enjoy having my dumb magician on the board to interact with Tony, Wanda, and Clint on my side and watching him interact with the other charries on the board as well. Since he's an incredibly powerful character, the potential applicant would have to work with me, S.S.A. Erin , to get him to fit into this board without being too all-powerful, however I would greatly enjoy having him here and I think he's worth the work. For face, I would really really love Oded Fehr. I know that's not who they've cast, but he's who I see in my head and I think he'd be perf for the character. I've also listed many other options to the left to stay away from the casting choice of Marvel. As to history, I'd like to stay fairly close to his comic history and have him be a little on the older side. They've never bothered to update his origin story, so he was born in the 30s and once he became Sorcerer Supreme, stopped aging as normal. He's good friends with Howard Stark, and as such the Sanctum resides just outside Manhattan where he can be close to his friend and on-call when needed to protect the world. Since he's constantly traveling dimensions and the like, there's no telling what he's dealing with at any particular point in time, and that's what makes him fun! I'd love for Tony to meet him, given he's not a fan of magic. He doesn't even believe in it a lot of the time! I also love some of the quips he can trade with Barton when they fight together. And I'd love for Wanda to be mentored in her powers by him, since she has a knack for magic. In the NewCon, she hasn't met him yet. Overall, I just really do want him around. Please contact me (S.S.A. Erin ) to talk about ideas for fitting him onto this board and such. But c'mon. Who doesn't love a guy with a sentient Cloak that seems to think its a cat? |
