Baldr clenched his jaw. This was clearly planned and they were clearly outgunned. He knew that it was time to call upon Asgard for aid, but the idea of going to his father with this was not one that he looked forward to. It would have to be him that brought it up; that begged for the Allfather to allow warriors to assist in what was happening on Midgard. He could feel Ragnarok pounding at his head and his heart and he knew with every fiber of his being that his time was coming, and it was the Mad Titan's approach that was bringing it. It was the clearest that his Sight had ever been.
A ship was sent to pick up his team and the Lady Sigyn's, and as soon as he saw her enter the small vessel, he approached her; a worried frown was already wrinkling his face as he thought over what he could say upon their arrival back at their home. What would convince the Allfather to help these people. "Milady, I am glad to see that you fared well in the battle," he greeted, bowing slightly in acknowledgement. She looked slightly tired, but other than that not much worse for the wear. Baldr was relieved to see this.
"I must humbly request your presence on a journey back to Asgard. I fear this attack is far larger than simply what we have defeated and what the others are fighting now. I believe that we will need the assistance of the warriors of our home in order to defend Midgard. And Thor will wish to be informed on what has happened." His brother had journeyed back to their home not long ago to meet with their Father over something that he had not seemed inclined to share with Baldr at the moment. He did hope it was not an argument about Thor wishing to stay on Midgard and abdicate the throne; that was another worry that he did not need at the moment.
Looking around at the rest of the people on-board, Baldr cleared his throat to address them as a whole. "My friends, I fear that the Mad Titan himself is on his way, and I wish to return to Asgard with the Lady Sigyn to negotiate reinforcements for our own fight. We shall meet you in New York once such things are complete," he informed the others, sparing an extra nod for Loki, who had sequestered himself as far from his former wife as he could on the vessel. He looked somewhat relieved at the prospect of being rid of her.
Taking his sword from its place at his side, he offered an arm to the Lady Sigyn. Once she had hold of him, he thrust the sword into the air. "To Asgard!" he cried, and his Father's magic wrapped around them, depositing them in the throne room itself, where Odin was conversing with some of his advisers near the throne. With a bow to his Father, he approached the steps, though he did not dare mount them without permission. Odin turned toward him.
"Father. The Mad Titan has sent his troops to Midgard and I Feel that he is next. We require the aid of Asgard's warriors to join us if we wish to fight him back." He could only hope that his Father could hear the certainty in his voice and would take heed.[/style][style=width: 401px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; background-color:#fcf76b; text-align:right; color: #333333;]Sigyn Iwaldidottir . @thor and @sif shall come later after another couple rounds of these two I think ? So Let The Storm Come

In the aftermath of the attack, they were told that there was also one taking place on the other coast.
The two pronged attacks and her interrupted contemplation led Sigyn to go and find the Odinsons on Earth. They needed to go home. She let Phil know that she would have to be away for a while; Asgard was calling, and there were things to attend to there as well. If they could get Aid, they would. She did not think the Allfather would budge, however. The insight into the future wasn’t as clear for her, which was both relieving and terrifying for her. To not know whether this was the end of the world or not was a good thing; it meant that nothing was set in stone. Not that visions ever were; she never believed that the future was set. You could always change it.
One of the many flying ships of SHIELD was sent to recover her team and another; Of course, her hunch that it was one of the Princes had been correct. Baldr seemed deep in thought. She was too, of course. Baldr got a one word response at that. Sigyn would really rather not have to think anymore about that for a while, but it looked like they would be left on their own for a moment. “I had a feeling we would be going home. It is very troublesome indeed; I hope we are not too late.” Sigyn said, fearing more that the large scale attacks on Midgard were just a diversionary tactic; that Thanos was going to be sending his main forces at Asgard to obtain...something. No one just let loose this amount of troops without an objective.
“Where is Thor, anyway? I did not see him go off with Mr. Stark and his friends.” Or rather, she didn’t hear of reports of him being with the Avengers anyway. Perhaps he had been elsewhere when the attacks hit, and had to respond to whatever area was being attack on his own, rather than rush off and leave innocents behind. Sigyn nodded as Baldr addressed the rest of the crew. The fact that Loki was there had not either not been noticed by Sigyn, or she was purposefully ignoring him. It was most likely the latter, considering how strained their relationship had been in the first place, and how bad it could get at times.
This was a large scale war, though, and they needed everyone that could help. Even if it was help from a treacherous snake, though she refrained from saying so to anyone present. A fight was unnecessary for this moment. Baldr offered his arm out to her, and once they were settled, Baldr transported them back to Asgard. A useful talent, to be sure. They arrived in the throne room, while Odin conversed with several advisors, some of which Sigyn didn’t know.
Baldr approach the steps, but hung back. A prince he may be, but he was not as bold as some of his brothers. Odin turned toward his third son, and seemed to be listening, although he looked bored and exhausted at the same time. “Midgard’s troubles are not ours. We have bigger problems, my son. Ones that must be addressed now.” Odin said. The scouts had returned from Svartalfheim; the reports were troubling, and the pockets previously unknown to Odin to allow others into Asgard were going to have to be sealed. Civilians protected, the Army amassed. He would protect his people at any and all costs, even if it meant total genocide of a race previously thought destroyed.
“Asgard cannot spare the soldiers to save the world of man. They will have to get by on their own.” Odin answered, now looking over more maps and notes of strategy. A dismissal if one ever heard one.
Sigyn, having been hanging back, decided that enough was enough. “And when, pray tell, will you spare the time for anyone else? Asgard has a sword duty to protect those realms that swore allegiance to it.” Sigyn knew that Midgard wasn’t one of those places; the Egyptians and the Greeks and everyone else had their own agents on it. But didn’t they have a duty to protect Midgard?
“I have spoken, Lady Sigyn; we cannot spare the men.” Odin replied, clearly annoyed at this interruption. “If that’s all the two of you have to say-”
“Begging your pardon, Allfather, but I am more than a lady. I am a Princess. And we should help; why do you think Thor returned to Midgard in the first place? If we cannot condone the genocide of giants, then we cannot leave Midgard on its own.” Sigyn said. If Asgard truly needed the people, fine; Odin had forgotten that he was not the only person to ask for assistance.
She knew her mother would take any opportunity to convince the Valkyrior to ride once more into battle, and she also knew that they weren’t going to say no. Collecting only Asgard’s fallen warriors would have to get boring after awhile. There were others to speak to as well, of course. Odin did not look happy at her interruption either, and she wondered what he would say next. She, too, had not ascended the stairs but neither was she going to back down from this stance.
It wasn’t as if the Allfather was entirely unreasonable.

"He is in Asgard at the moment," he informed her, "We will bring him back to Midgard with us, I am sure." Thor would not stay in Asgard after their news was delivered as he cared far too much for his companions in this realm to leave them on their own in the face of such an enemy.
The Lady Sigyn did not seem inclined to acknowledge Loki's presence on the transport, which Baldr was not surprised by. Their marriage had ended badly, to say the least, and their relationship was, as such, not the healthiest. Instead of mentioning it, he simply transported himself and the Lady Sigyn back to Asgard. Their arrival caught very little surprise, although he did see one of the servants slip out, likely to inform Thor of his arrival.
Baldr scowled a bit at his Father's response. "Svartalfheim can wait, Father. Midgard is being attacked now. There is a lull, but the Mad Titan is heading for them. I can feel it," he replied, his voice far stronger than it normally was in circumstances like this one. He did not often talk back to his Father, but he felt Ragnarok at his throat and it was bolstering his bravery in this. He would spend the time that he had saving as many as he could.
This did not seem to encourage his Father to listen to him any more, and he was about to speak again when the Lady Sigyn stepped forward. She was much braver than he; willing to interrupt the Allfather without even skipping a beat. "Please, Father. The Midgardians need our assistance. They are outmanned in this fight, and their forces are already tired from the first round of it. Fresh soldiers from Asgard, even simply a small number of them, would go a long way for them."
His Father heaved a sigh, turning further towards them. "We cannot just go running to Midgard's aid every time they are attacked, my son," he stated, "We have our own wars to fight."
"Father, please! Our war with Svartalfheim can wait. Should Thanos take Midgard, it will cause harm to more than simply their people. It will give him a foothold in the nine realms that he could use to create further destruction." He was sure that his Father knew this, somewhere, but was simply too set in his ways to admit it quite yet.[/style][style=width: 401px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; background-color:#fcf76b; text-align:right; color: #333333;]Sigyn Iwaldidottir , then @thor and @sif to help in telling Odin off a little? So Let The Storm Come

Odin would not budge, but more because of pride rather than being stupid, Sigyn suspected. She could see his point as well; Sending soldiers down to assist Midgard would leave Asgard in an extremely vulnerable position. It would make sense that he did not wish to spare them, especially because Asgard was so few in number. Baldr actually talked back to his father, and that was far more impressive than usual. The third brother was always the one that tried to keep the peace, and more often than not succeeded. She could feel it too. It was coming...but it felt slightly different.
With anyone aside from Loki anyway. However, Odin liked to forget that they had allies. “Have you forgotten that we have quite a bit more at our disposal than just Asgardian Soldiers?” Sigyn prompted. “My mother would be quite willing to convince the Valkyrior to fight once more on Midgard.” Sigyn pointed out. “There is also Alfheim which is sworn to Asgard, considering my uncle, Freyr, is their King. I do not see why you could not have at least two legions of light elves added as well. We would not ask to leave Asgard unguarded.” Sigyn pointed out, if that was a concern. “Even half a legion of Asgardian Soldiers would even the score...and don’t you think it’s strange that Thanos is only focusing on Midgard?” Sigyn pointed out.
There were some things in Asgard that surely the Mad Titan would find interesting, but there had to be something or someone on Midgard that he wanted. Desperately. Even with his addled mind, he would not send his own forces to place that held nothing for him. “He must be after something. Or someone. He would not just concentrate his forces on one world for no reason.”
“And what proof do you even have of this, Lady Sigyn?” Odin asked.
“It is simple strategy, sir. Thanos already had his forces split the heroic teams up on Midgard. Why? I can’t imagine it was just to see what would happen. He wanted to weaken the forces that Midgard has at its disposal, specifically drawing the Avengers and SHIELD out in force.” Sigyn stated. “He has been ruler over the Dark Elves for these sixty years past. Why not target the other realms? Because, truly, we do not have what he wants, or rather he cannot get it with a simple invasion.” At least, that was her theory. “That or he thinks he needs to conquer Midgard first, before he turns his gaze to Asgard.” Which didn’t make much sense, but they did not call him the Mad Titan for nothing.
Why else would Thanos bother? Or perhaps it was a simple thought of conquer Midgard and then attack Asgard. “I feel it too. It is coming.” Sigyn said, aware that Baldr and her sister Nanna would be able to back this up.
Odin leaned back and considered their appeal. They had made very good points; he need not spare a large force to send in. But still. Thor, the heir apparent had shirked his duty, fallen in love with a human woman, and chose the world of Man over that of his birth. “What does your brother say, Baldr?” Odin finally asked, having a feeling that his second eldest son would also pay him a visit.
’I say their words are truth, father.’ the voice of the thunder god echoed through the opulent and vast throne room where the meeting had been taking place.
Stepping towards the party of three, he nodded apologetically at the fact he had been late once more. The Allfather looking down upon his son with a bemused and disappointed smile.
’Your continued tardiness is straining my patience, Thor.’ the Allfather annoyedly remarked at the lateness of the Thunder God. ’What is the reason for your lateness?’ he queried, Odin’s eye spying around the room for any other ‘surprise visitors’.
Taking a short bow at his father, making sure to appease his fickle and sometimes downright stubborn lord. ’My apologies, father. But I have only yet returned to Asgard as of this moment, you can ask Heimd--’
Waving his hand, Odin simply indicated for Thor to skip the excuses and simply continue on with the important parts of what he wished to add to the proceedings.
’There is a storm coming, and Midgard is only the first victim along its path.’ Thor eloquently explained, taking his time to acknowledge the words of his brother and sister in law. ’The mad Titan might seem to be focusing only on Midgard currently, but it will be only a matter of time before he sees Asgard as the next target in his systematic subjugation of the nine realms.’ squinting his eyes he knew that his father was a practical man that always sought the protection of his own realm over the protection of all the other realms, if it had to happen he’d let all the other realms burn if it meant keeping Asgard safe from harm and war.
’We cannot stand here and wait for Thanos to come to us, we need to make a stand together with Midgard to stop the Titan before he can fully concentrate his forces.’ if there had always been a thing Thor had been good with, it was making grand speeches that could roused even the most weary into a frenzy.
But yet, his father was learned of his son’s emphatic motivational abilities and simply continued to spy away at the group giving little in the way of promises. ’Your words are moving as always, my son…’ Straightening himself in his seat and focusing directly on Thor, he stroked his ashen beard in contemplation. ’But your words are loaded with blind emotion, your personal stake in Midgard’s plight has clouded your better judgement.’ taking his great spear ‘Gungnir’ he let the pommel thud onto the marble flooring, causing the sound to echo through every inch of the palace. ’I cannot jeopardize the life of good Asgardian men to aid you in your personal quest to protect the Midgardian woman Jane Foster.’ standing up from his seat, any trace or doubt of the man’s age would disappear as he’d show his imposing figure to anyone that saw him.
’If Thanos wishes to attack Asgard, we will face him on the battlefield and force him to taste defeat at Asgardian hands.’ strutting down the step with Gungnir in hand, his eyes prodded a final time at the trio in front of him. ’You all have said your peace, I feel Midgard’s plea but I must think of Asgard’s well-being always.’
Feeling a jolt of power coarse through his body, the god of thunder’s patience had slowly reached a breaking point as he could not stand idly by and hear his father sacrifice the realm he had grown fond of. ’I cannot allow you to forsake Midgard because of the decisions I have made, father!’ stepping to challenge his own father, he did not flinch or blink a single second. ’When you made Baldr heir, I did not speak because it was your right to do so. But I am speaking now, because you are making a mistake that will bring ruin to everyone.’
’You best choose your words wisely, my son. I might be your father but I am still the ruler of Asgard and you shall heed my words.’ the All-Father remarked to Thor’s sudden and unrelenting challenge of Odin’s decisions.
’Baldr has seen the future, he knows what shall happen if we do not act and cause Midgard to fall.’ Thor told with both anger and fear in his voice. ’If we stand together with Humankind, the Titan’s plan shall fail and we can save both Midgard and Asgard!’
Looking back at Sigyn and Baldr, his often carefree and confident face had now turned into one of frustration and genuine worry for the foolishness his father was showing. If none of them personally could talk sense into him, perhaps they all had to stand together as one front…
@sif & Baldr Odinson & Sigyn Iwaldidottir | Words: 800 | Notes: Hand it to Thor to have the dramatic entrance… And dramatic everything… If my bit was a bit too OTT, please tell and I’ll make it less OTT.
“Then you need not send any men, I shall suffice.” Sif said breaking her silence on the matter as she entered the room behind Thor and caught the All fathers words. Sif put a clinched fist over her heart and bowed to the All-Father before walking further into his great hall to join the conversation with the All-Father his sons and Sigyn. Only moments earlier her brother Heimdall had tipped Sif off that Thor had returned to Midgard to talk sense into his father about leanding the aid of Asgard to Midgard in the face of potential annihilation.
With that news Sif had made haste to Odin's chambers where Baldor and Sigyn were already deep in conversation trying to convince the Allfather to render his aid to Midgard in their time of need. “We have always sworn to defended Midgard in the past... You yourself my lord lost an eye in defense of Midgard.” Sif added harking back to when the Frost Giants had first descended on Midgard in an attempt to bring eternal winter to the developing planet.
“I dare not ask you what has changed as I value your wisdom more than most. But as a warrior sworn to the defense of the 9 Realms if you will I beg you to acquiesce to your sons request. Midgard needs us, All of the 9 realms need us. What good are we as gods if we let those who depend on our protection to suffer at the hands of monsters such as Thanos?” Odin remained eerily silent as Sif bluntly spoke her mind which began to make Sif feel very self conscious usually Frigga was standing by Odin's side when Sif spoke to him but she was not present which made Sif begin to question her candor with her King.
“You dare question your King so boldly, Lady Sif?” Odin asked in a calm montoned voice.
Sif lowered her head briefly before raising it back up to not show weakness to her King. “My Lord... Midgard is in peril now. Their champions are ill equipped to handle a threat such as Thanos. To not act now would be a foolhardy endeavor and cost millions of people... Including your sons betrothed lives.” Sif then looked first to Baldor before looking to her other side at Thor realizing she had just questioned the most powerful entity possibly in all of the known realms and called him a fool for not wanting to aid the fledgling Midgard before things got any worse and the Mad Titan Thanos gained a stranglehold over another Realm.
Sif then slowly returned her gaze to the stoic All-Father ready to accept whatever he would say to the collection next. Whether or not Sif would follow his orders if she disagreed was another matter entirely as she knew the Sons of Odin would venture to Midgard to aid in the defense of the Realm with or without their fathers blessing and Sif hoped that the Odinsons and Sigyn knew they had Sif's sword and loyalty no matter the cost.

He did not like conflict, especially within his own family, and he had trouble disagreeing with his Father especially. After all, this was his the King of the realm of the gods. He simply nodded in agreement to her words, as she was far more eloquent than he would ever be.
Then Odin asked after Loki. After a moment of being surprised, he cleared his throat to speak. “Loki says Thanos is coming. He is not far behind the attack we just fought off; there will be another focussed on Midgard, and soon. We do not have time to delay; they need reinforcements, as their people have already been through one battle. They are not at full form, and I believe that to be the point of this exercise. They drew away the people that protected their main target the last time so that they could exhaust all other resources with their initial attack. Now that everyone is tired, they will come back and overrun them. This is the strategy Loki believes them to be using.” And given his brother’s time under the Titan’s control, he was inclined to believe him.
The Allfather seemed to be considering his response when Thor came barging into the throne room, causing Baldr to turn towards the distracting noise of his entrance and shake his head. Thor had always been quite overdramatic, but Baldr was glad to see him here. He would back up his and Sigyn’s request for aid, Baldr knew, attached as he was to Midgard.
There was desperation sinking into Thor’s pleas with their Father, one that was reflected in Baldr’s own face. He was not as attached to Midgard as his brother, but he found goodness in the realm nonetheless. To let it fall to Thanos would be a great crime. He turned to smile at the Lady Sif as she entered to offer her own support to their pleas.
“Father, please,” he added on the end of Sif’s words, “This is not about personal feelings. We simply cannot condemn the entire planet to fall under Thanos! There are billions of Midgardians making their home there; all their lives will be lost if we do not turn Thanos back now!”
There was a deep frown on Odin’s face at this point, and Baldr hoped that it meant he was wavering in his decision. So Let The Storm Come
tag: @thor // words: 895 // notes: Sigyn doesn't take ur crap, Odin
Thor arrived, late as usual. The Allfather made this a dramatic point of contention against his second son, but he wasn’t typically this way. Odin had a calmer demeanor. Sigyn suspected Thor’s rejection of his birthright still stung in some ways. Otherwise, his rejection of such things came out of left field. While she knew that the Aesir were similar to the Atlanteans in the way of occasionally letting their passions get the better of them, Odin, more so than his sons, was balanced with a more rational nature.
At times.
It became very clear that Odin was letting his more bitter and petty emotions get to him. He’d already been considering their initial statements for aiding Midgard before Thor came in here. The elder Odinson might prove to be a difficult ally to have in this fight. Sif arrived, but despite her prowess on the battlefield, it seemed that navigating political waters eluded the other woman to some degree. Sif showed far more respect than her or the Odinsons had, considering she wasn’t exactly part of the Odin family, or even in Sigyn’s own case, had previously been considered a member of Odin’s core family.
Sif reminded him of past deals and duties to Midgard, but he dismissed her word as just another soldier. Sure, they were sworn to protect the nine realms but that oath seemed to hold no sway on their King anymore. Then made the plea for Midgard once more, although she seemed to be curiously under the impression that Jane and Thor were betrothed or that Baldr had a lady waiting for him…. She looked curiously at both of them as if to question that aspect. Thor telling Sif first if he was engaged to Jane made sense, but Baldr? Not so much.
Baldr added the information Loki had provided for him, since Loki was forbidden from entering Asgard still. Which again, was what she had said previously in some fashion, but this was more straightforward.
“You say his words are blinded by emotion, but so are yours, Allfather.” Sigyn said. “How can they not be? The son you wished to inherit the throne of Asgard did not wish for it.” She was far more bold than either Baldr or Sif. Perhaps the time she’d spent on Midgard had changed her. It had been hard to regain the confidence she’d once had in herself as a person. “Better judgement would be to aid Midgard at this time; As I said previously, even a small contingent of Aesir soldiers would do much to bolster the forces of Midgard.” Sigyn added. The next part was going to be hard, especially because she knew she’d be hitting a pretty big button of all the gathered Aesir.
“Or are you a coward and a liar? Is the Allfather I stand before truly an Aesir?” Sigyn questioned. “We say we are a proud warrior race, yet you hold back when war threatens a realm you swore to protect, yet you run from that duty?” Sigyn pointed out. “The Aesir warriors would jump at a chance to stretch their muscles in a fight; who has truly had the power to oppose our realm in all this time?” Sigyn said, trying to appeal to both his rage and pride. The Allfather turned his ire on her. “What did you say?” Odin growled at Sigyn, her words clearly having found their mark. Good. What would the Allfather do? Simply turn her mortal? Ah, well. That would mean that her magic would be more effective on Midgard when it came to it.
“I called you a coward because you will not face Thanos like the rest of us are willing to.” Sigyn said in response, coolly staring back at the one eyed glare. “He is on Midgard, He took over Svartalfheim, and you are saying that the Aesir should simply hang back and let him do as he pleases, because you don’t like the choices your sons have made?” She stated, finding herself now inches away from the Allfather. “Sigyn. Learn to hold your tongue and keep your peace.” He growled out at her, looking very menacing as he did so.
“Just because the truth is ugly or something one does not wish to hear, does not make it any less of the truth. Now, are you an Aesir King or aren’t you?” Sigyn said, standing her ground and hoping the other three would back her up. “And I do know my place. It is on Midgard, fighting alongside our allies there.” Sigyn said to him. “It is what we all should do.” She added, as her plea for assisting Midgard. Odin resumed his place on the Throne. She knew he could not leave for long. Perhaps that was his fear.
“It also helps that they are converging on the city known as ‘New York’ on Midgard. I do not think they’ll be striking anywhere else.” Sigyn added. Odin now seemed to consider the stance of all of them, leaning back in his chair and thinking about it.
“Do you not care for Asgard?” He said, looking at both of his sons for their response to this question.
In a sense Thor felt disrespected by his father’s questioning of his love for Asgard, but in this case he would refrain from taking the slight and keeping the peace as much as it was possible. His father was a stubborn man who held dear to the old traditions of Asgard. His love for Jane Foster was an affront in his eyes, and Odin was not the man to let such dogs lie until he got his way.
’Father, you cannot truly think any of us are not prepared to give up our lives for Asgard?’ he told with no sense of doubt in his words, Asgard would always stay his home regardless of how much time he spent on Midgard. ’If you do not believe my words to be enough, Baldr’s should.’ Baldr had always been the sensible one, the one to think things through where Loki and him would run off and do what came into their minds. If Baldr said something had to happen, chances were great that he was not overestimating the gravity of the situation
’Thanos shall not stop until all the realms are at his feet, but we have a chance to stand together with friend and foe alike to put a stop to his madness once and for all, in one mighty swoop.’ the day he saw Svartalf as an ally was the day he truly had forgotten how everything worked, but it showed that even the elves with the blackest of hearts knew that all petty squabbles were useless if Thanos was to come out victorious.
’Our Midgardian brethren have fought hard, but they lack the force required to stop Thanos from winning. But with Odin and all of Asgard behind them we will turn the tables, and protect both Midgard and Asgard alike on that day.’ he had to admit to himself that he was glorifying it a bit, perhaps it would relight the spark inside the old warrior’s heart of his mighty father that had earned his legendary status on the battlefield all those ages ago…
Baldr Odinson & Sigyn Iwaldidottir & @sif | Words: 400 | Notes: A bit bleh reply, but it’ll do the trick nicely for the other’s to jump in and deliver ‘the finishing blow’.
The Odinsons and Sigyn continued to plead with the All-Father to lend his aid to Midgard during their battle with the Mad Titan but Sif grew impatient of graveling for the All-Father's blessing to do what she had already felt was her sworn duty as a champion of Asgard to help protect and maintain order within all of the nine realms. “Duty and Honor.” Sif said blankly to no one in the room in particular. “I have served Asgard with both for centuries and I shall continue to do so for as long as the All-Father will have me.”
Sif then stepped forward towards her King and put a hand over her chest and bent a knee to her King. “But I will not turn my back on those in the realm of Midgard which Thor loves so much in their time of need. My duty is to all of the nine realms. My honor holds me to help defend the weak against the mighty. If the All-Father does not see this as his Duty and Honor any longer than I have little words left to plead with. Time is fleeting, I shall depart for Midgard before it is in ruins.” Sif then stood back up off her knee and looked to the Odinsons before her turning her back to Odin.
“I hope to see my Brothers fighting alongside me when I arrive. And I pray to Valhalla that the All-Father sees reason in the error of his way.” Sif then began walking towards the exit. She had her own friends on Midgard and knew the human race to be a decent bunch. Not to mention that any place that Thor cared so deeply about was certainly something worth fighting for in her eyes even if it meant directly defying the All-Father and risking banishment from Asgard. It would not be the first time Sif had disobeyed an order from the All-Father to defend her friends and fight for what she felt was right.
