OTM WINNERS
Congratulations to our OTM Winners, who will be displayed in the table at the top of the forum for the next couple months! We love everyone here, but its always nice to spread around a bit of extra appreciation!
Outgoing, chipper, and always eager to plot, Sam is one of the friendliest voices in the cbox, and on site. His wide cast of characters and more-than-proficient handling of them show how versatile a writer he is, and unlike many writers, he isn't afraid of humiliating his characters. He is a genuine joy to have on site, and Mortal Ends is a brighter place for having him.
Hilarious, Darcy is the voice of reason in the midst of madness. She is normally the first to question what the hell is going on and remark on the insanity of the situation. Nonetheless, she keeps a cool head and meets danger head on, despite knowing how outgunned she is. Darcy is the living example of 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade' and Aech's characterization of her is spot on.
So equally popular that not even a tie-breaker could narrow down the winner, Tori and Rogue are very similar characters in a lot of ways. Both are friendly, outgoing, stubborn, sweet and creative. Both are always eager to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate, and both are willing to put their lives on the line to protect their friends, family and country. Played by the expert Ciji and masterful Aech respectively, both are perfect contenders for Mutant of the Month.
The King of Atlantis is a good man, but has shown that he is willing to do very bad things when it comes to the protection of his people. A passionate man, he will stop at nothing to see his kingdom safe, even if it means he must crush all the armies of the surface to do so. El’s characterization of Namor is constantly turning heads on the site, and has sparked genuine interest in a character most have only ever heard of in passing.
This category was chosen by the staff and this month it goes to Peter Parker, played by Icky, during his third encounter with Felicia Hardy.

"Why does everyone think I'm a kid?!" Pete spouted off, voice getting dangerously close to breaking. "I mean sure I'm not exactly as big as the Hulk but come on. Bein small doesn't mean I'm young. Just compact." Big things came in small packages right?
