[PTabbedContent][PTab=GENERAL INFORMATION] [/PTab][PTab=PERSONNEL ASSESSMENT]CHARACTER INFO: NAME: James Howlett ALIAS: Logan, Wolverine, Weapon X, Canucklehead (but not to his face, if you know what’s good for you) AGE: Approx. 134 years OCCUPATION: “Teacher” at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, former agent of the Canadian Government MEMBER GROUP: Mutants, X-Men POWERS AND ABILITIES: Claws: Logan has three, twelve-inch-long claws on each hand that he can extend from and retract into his forearm. Like the rest of his skeleton, these claws are coated in adamantium, and as a result have taken on more blade-like shapes than when they were purely bone. These claws can cut through virtually anything, with the exception of stronger materials like diamond and vibranium. Healing Factor: Logan’s most predominant ability, his healing factor makes him virtually un-killable. While his healing factor is certainly not as strong as that of Deadpool’s, the only real way to kill Wolverine would be to cut his head off, and then keep that head away from his body. The time it takes for him to regenerate depends on the complexity of the organ and the severity of the damage, but most combat wounds heal in a matter of minutes. Enhanced Senses: Logan is very animal-like, with almost all of his senses enhanced to the point where he’s an excellent tracker. He can see much farther distances than humans, can detect the slightest of sounds to hear enemies approaching, and has a sense of smell so powerful he can recognize and remember people he’s encountered by their scent. Adamantium: Logan’s entire skeleton is coated in adamantium, making his bones virtually unbreakable. The coating doesn’t protect his joints, though, so dislocations are still possible – but his healing factor tends to make short work of such minor injuries. The plating on his skeleton also adds a bit more weight to his hits. Enhanced Strength/agility: A more benign aspect of Logan’s mutation, and the only reason he can still move with his adamantium skeleton, Logan is able to lift up to two tons with maximum effort. His agility and movement speed is that of a human at peak physical efficiency. He can climb most surfaces with the use of his claws, and has training in infiltration from his days with Weapon X and the Canadian Government. Psionic Resistance: Part of the Weapon X program was erasing Logan’s memories from before the treatment, to make him a more efficient soldier and killing machine. A side effect of this treatment is that Logan’s mind is extremely resistant to telepathic interference – while strong enough telepaths can get through his mental defenses and read his thoughts, any attempt to access memories from before his time with Weapon X is completely blocked. Berserker: Logan is a man with something of a short temper. Of course, his anger has an upside to it: in the form of his berserker rage. When Logan is pushed far enough, he goes into an almost trance-like state, where all he sees is red, and he becomes nigh-unstoppable. Every bullet, every punch, every hit he takes can be shrugged off almost like it was nothing. The damage is still there, and will probably bite him in the ass later (assuming he hasn’t healed by then), but while he’s raging he’s practically unstoppable. PLAYBY: Hugh Jackman OOC INFO: PLAYER NAME: Sam AGE: 19 GENDER: Male TIMEZONE: EST OTHER CHARACTERS: Ben Grimm, Jackson Kimura, Stephen Strange, Flash Thompson PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT: Chuck, I’m leaving… Again. I’m sure you know already – I know you don’t go poking around in everyone’s heads when we don’t know it, but if all the times we’ve sat and tried to dig into my past have taught me anything, it’s that sometimes I just think too damn loud for you to ignore. And right now I’m pretty sure my thoughts are going full-volume. The dreams are back, Chuck – flashes of crap that’s familiar, but that I don’t recognize. I’m in places where I feel like I’m supposed to be, but I don’t know where these places are. But it’s more than just another dream; this is different – it’s like one big trip of déjà vu, but I can never remember enough of what happened once I wake up. I can never piece any of it together into anything… Coherent. One that really got me was one where I was speaking Russian, and I actually understood it… Then there’s this one, in some sort of… Well, I’m not even sure. There was forest all around, but I was at the center – a big house, nice clothes… I remember feeling young, and feeling blood running down my hands for the first time. Don’t know if it was mine, or somebody else’s – maybe both. There was a name that kept coming up: James. I don’t know who the woman who kept screaming it was talking to, but the name just sounded… Familiar. Listen, I know you’ve tried your best to help me remember… Anything, from before I started working for Weapon X. I appreciate everything, especially the years with the school, and the X-Men, but I need some time alone right now... I’m not sure why this is happening again; Ever since Jean… Well, not a lot makes sense to me anymore. I get what you’re trying to do with S.H.I.E.L.D., and I’m all for the mutant rights crap for everybody else, but I’ve gotta face facts: I ain’t like everybody else. Even if people were fine with mutants, I’m not normal, and I sure as Hell ain’t putting myself at the end of some government stooge’s leash again just to look normal. I don’t want any part of working with Fury, or the flaming Avengers. I’m not a hero, Chuck – Weapon X made me to be a killer, and a killer is all I am. There’s one thing all these flashes have in common, and it’s blood. Blood running down my hand, blood dripping from some redhead’s face after I hit her… Sometimes all I see is red, and it’s getting harder and harder to understand the difference between friend and enemy. Until I can clear my head, I think it’s best for you and everyone if I just take off for a while. Oh, and I took the suit – hope you don’t mind. - Logan [/PTab][PTab=IMAGE][/PTab][/PTabbedContent={width:485px;border:0px;margin-left:-2px;}] |
