Flash sort of had to wonder if it was wrong that he was having a blast fighting these aliens. It gave him a good opportunity to really test his limits with the symbiote, see just what he could do - and man, he could do a lot. He found he could shoot out a web and - with his enhanced strength - pull on it once it connected to give himself a good boost of speed towards the Chariots he was jumping between. That speed, plus his arm shifting within seconds into a giant spike for him to shishkebab Chitauri through, meant he was tossing aliens to the ground in pretty decent numbers.
One of the Chitlians was giving him a bit of trouble, having caught Flash off-guard and between chariots. Maybe Flash could've dealt with him more quickly, but he sort of wanted to test his new reflexes, and boy-oh-boy were they working out. None of the Chitlian's swings with its spear were connecting - and at one point, Flash even did like Bruce Lee, dropping back onto his hands and sending both feet up into the Chitlian's jaw. He jumped back to his feet, and ran his spike-arm through the Chitlian, clenching his fist rinside the spike to send even more spikes out of it to just tear the Chitlian apart - Spikeception.
The Chariots were still all over the sky, so Flash definitely had his work cut out for him. But he would definitely have help - She-Hawk was probably on the roof by now because of whatever backup she'd called in, and it was pretty much impossible not to notice the living sun that was tearing through Chitauri. So yeah, this battle almost felt like it was already won - well, maybe not, but how could they possibly lose with this kind of firepower on their side?
Flash shot out another web, pulling himself up and to the underside of another Chariot. This time, he was thinking 'surprise attack,' practice for the eventuality of him having to sneak onto a private jet or a cargo plane leaving some third-world dictatorship, or something along those lines. He was just working through the mental exercises and wondering if the symbiote could make his hand a buzz-saw when the chariot just exploded - something was tearing through it, maybe some kind of new Chitauri weapon that they'd turned on him. They would be the type to kill however many of their own troops just to get rid of him.
It all happened so fast, he didn't even have time to react with a web to catch himself on. The one thing he had going for him was that the symbiote was its own entity, and had its own defense mechanisms. Before he hit the ground, the suit got denser, so he didn't get hurt when he finally hit the ground - if anything, the street was hurt, some new cracks forming from the impact.
At first, everything was blurry, unfocused - there were a thousand sounds, and all he could see was the black tar of the street. But there was something else... Something that almost blended in with the street, but it was moving. Flash blinked, trying to clear up his vision, the face on his mask convulsing as it tried to reform. When he could finally see clearly, he felt his heart drop into his stomach: there, in front of him, was one of his legs. It was totally made of the symbiote, and since it was disconnected from the main symbiote, it was "melting," strips of it crawling across the street to rejoin the main body.
But Flash could only focus on the lack of feeling in his legs, the sounds of war all around him... It was all too familiar, too deja vu-ish. It was happening again, it was all happening again, and this time he wasn't going to get through. The enemy was everywhere, guns were going off constantly, beams of energy were fired in all directions; where was the Commander? Where were the others? He was alone, no one was going to save him, no one was going to pull him out of the firefight...
... No.. He wasn't alone - he was never alone, not since Project Rebirth. He had to accept that he wasn't alone, that he wasn't just a singular person anymore, or he was going to die there - he wouldn't get to live up to his potential, he would never see Betty again. The greatest advantage the symbiote had was that it was alive, and lived with its host; Flash was the host now, and he had to let the symbiote live up to its potential.
The body armor that encompassed his form convulsed, bubbling in places and shifting. The mask cracked a few inches below the eyes, splitting open into a wicked sort of smile. The crack opened as if it were being torn open, exposing gums and razor-sharp teeth that could tear through flesh like paper. Soon enough, the very thing that had had Flash so panicked and angry was no more - his legs totally regrown, pure symbiotic muscle, and ending with sharp claws that matched the ones now on his hand. Individual pieces of combat armor melted together, into a smooth, black suit that was all but skin-tight.
Flash wasn't there any more - Flash had gone to sleep when he hit the ground, and something else had woken up. So when the black mass stood up once more, Flash wasn't standing there. A lengthy tongue snaked out of the mass' smile, licking its lips and face entirely. They looked around the battlefield, spotting all of the Chitauri - the ones that had tried to damage them, destroy them, hurt their host. Enemies, threats, dangerous entities that would threaten their survival. They had to be dealt with - and Venom was more than ready to tear them apart.

”Oh you know,” Falcon shrugged hoisting Kate up into his arms. ”Just got caught up in taking in the scenery. I’ve always been fond of the architecture in DC.” Even more so when it wasn’t it wasn’t in danger of being taken out by a group of renegade aliens. He was hoping they would be able to keep the beasts away from the monuments. Skyscrapers, while a pain would be a lot easier to replace than a building built when the country had first be founded.
Falcon had considered himself pretty lucky to have managed to not get covered in Leviathan goo when one of the things had decided to explode. That wasn’t the case any longer after he had he had carried Kate up to one of the buildings. His fellow agent had managed to douse herself in the goo and the close proximity that was required for him to be able to carry her up to the building tops meant he managed to get covered in it as well.
He shouldn’t be surprised, war had never been a clean affair. However dust was a bit different than alien guts. Once this was all done he was going to need a hot shower and a flame thrower. Something told him there was no way he was getting this mess out of his uniform.
[color-red]”Roger that,”[/color] He called catching sight of the vantage point Kate had requested. He grinned at her choice of words and had they not been in the middle of a fight for the city he might have considered loosening his hold a bit like he was going to drop her. Sadly, this was neither the time nor the place. That would have to remain on the backburner for now.
Instead he landed lightly on the roof top and set Kate gently down on her feet. ”Two blocks over, on it.” He called back letting Kate know he had heard her. ”Hollar if you need anything.” Stepping backwards up to the ledge he gave Kate a jaunty salute before falling backwards off the building. He dropped briefly before his wing snapped out to slow his descent and after a quick barrel roll he was upright and heading off in the direction Kate had pointed out, his fancy goggles having already picked up the supers she had been talking about.
”Mind if I join the party?” He asked pulling up to the young mutants one of whom looked rather familiar. ”Hey man!” Falcon exclaimed having recognized Icarus. ”Good to see you again! Though I would have prefered to run into you under different circumstances.”

The explosion threw a lot of sound her way. The collision of the larger chunks when they hit the ground, the ripping sound wave, the whoosh that came when pieces went flying, all in addition to constant gunfire, tank blasts and screams. It was like a disharmonic symphony cranked to eleven. And she was here to absorb it all in with as much effectiveness as Sheryl Crow soaked up the sun.
Except she was pretty sure she was the sun in this equation. Or damn near close to the fucking thing. She wasn't even able to turn off how bright she was anymore. It was just going across all spectrums, and the scary part was that she was fighting how bright she was. If she went full-kilter she was pretty sure she'd blind everyone and not just the people that were looking her way.
"Guess I'm more of a certified badass than I thought." She quipped back when Jay mentioned that they--or she, specifically, was taking out all the baddies. "Sorry about the brights, babe. Can't kill 'em." As it was, she wasn't sure she'd be able to sleep for the next decade with as pumped as she was presently. It was like she'd downed a gallon of espresso in an hour and was riding a serious caffeine high. Except her caffeine high came with lasers that cut through shit, light bombs, barriers and god knew what else.
But lots of juice didn't equal lots of focus, and when she was knocked she was struggling hard as she went plummeting toward the pavement.
Fuckity fuck fuck! She was not becoming jelly on the streets of DC. She just needed to focus. Keep the barrier tight around her, then think about expanding it or firing off a pillar of hard light or some crap so she didn't get swept up with the Chitauri come the morning. Okay, she--and just like that, she was plucked out of the air. Some skinny, Kentucky Fried Bassist was holding her up.
Reaching up, she wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed him with a quick, hard peck on the cheek. "My god-damn hero!" She panted with a shaky voice, adrenaline rocketing through her harder than it ever had before. She could kiss him a few more times for good measure, but considering they were flying through the air which was lousy with aliens trying to kill them both, she'd have to take a raincheck on thanking him for possibly saving her life.
"Sure as hell did," Al laughed with relief. "Yeah, I'm good for a disk. Lemme go before I blind ya," judging from his grimace and the way his head was tilted away, she was pretty sure that was going to happen.
Pushing away from him, she formed a disk under her feet, light still flooding so far out of her body that she just looked like a star with a vaguely human outline in the center. As soon as she got her feet planted firmly on the invisible, ultraviolet disk, another dude with wings showed up. Turning to Jay, she grinned, then remembered she was supposed to not do that. "What, y'guys with wings start multiplin' when I wasn't lookin'?" Twisting back to Falcon, she nodded. "Yeah, more the merrier. Three's company an' all that. Just... uhh, sorry 'bout the light thing. No killin' the headlights right now."
Hearing a chariot approaching from six o' clock, she mowed the thing down with a flourish of light spheres, which spread out farther than any buckshot.
@jay Yay! You and Sare-bear can throw whatever you want their way.
Phase 2 threads should be wrapping up by Friday, March 18th, 11:59 PM EST. Try and come to whatever stopping point you can. Threads can also end earlier if you take out the Leviathans. Thanks, and have fun!
“S’okay.” Jay replied, taking care to not look much in her general direction, considering that she was shimmering so brightly he might find himself blinded for longer than a few moments if he looked at her for too long right now. On the upside, DC could claim that it was faring well with Ali here. Lucky for them. Then Ali had fallen, and he’d rushed over to the rescue, swooping in, and they were now moving, Jay keeping them away from the blasts of energy that the Chitauri shot at them, Jay found himself kissed on the cheek by Ali. “Well, Ah gotta do somethin’ o’ note in this here attack.” Jay commented, managing to conceal how freaked out for a moment he’d been there.
When she was ready to make her flying disk, Jay let her go, letting her stand on her own completely when the thing looked stable, and flew a little bit away from her as she was glowing even brighter than before. It was like flying next to a small sun for him. It was then that Falcon showed up, managing to pull alongside the two mutants. “Well, Ah was in tha area. Figured Ah’d do what ah could.” Jay responded to Falcon, before Ali twisted around and grinned at him, which was as blinding as before.
Different circumstances? Like what, Jay wondered to himself. At least Ali had zero need for a mask for a secret identity, ever. The light show she produced tended to make identifying her really hard, and well, him too for that matter. He was close enough to her force field and light bubble for his features to be obscured from the majority, if not all, observers. Chariots were approaching the group, and targets were made by a rather large Chitlian. Ali was top priority, but none of them could get near enough to her.
They spread out, and Ali mowed down one of the chariots, not counting on two flying higher in the sky, shooting at all three of the fliers, trying to separate them. More chariots approached from the front, intent on taking out at least one of the three members, and firing where they could. Jay found himself getting pushed farther and farther away from Ali, before managing to maneuver back to her side.
It was then that one chariot Chitauri surged forward, forcing him away from from her and Falcon, who were soon attacked by the rest of the group.
@katiepop Jay in Peril! Ali or Katie can help him out c:
This is gospel for the fallen ones locked away in permanent slumber Assembling their philosophy from pieces of broken memories Oh oh oh oh oh oh This is the beat of my heart Gnashing teeth and criminal tongues conspire against the odds but they haven't seen the best of us yet If you love me, let me go If you love me, let me go Cause these words are nice enough to leave scars for fear of falling apart And truth be told I never was yours for fear for fear of falling apart Oh oh oh oh oh This is the beat of my
Kate was overjoyed that he didn’t take it literally. She was so not in the mood to get dropped anywhere. When he set foot on the roof and put her down gently, she gave him an apologetic smile. “Sorry for the goo. I didn’t meant to get you covered too.” There were worse things, she supposed, but it was pretty gross given the sticky feeling. She just hoped that it wasn’t all over her hands. Kate hadn’t had a chance to check just yet.
Moving up into her corner view, all she could do was shake her head as Sam dropped off the building like it was no big deal. Apparently someone had been taking lessons from Cap. At least, or so she had heard. Kate hadn’t had the pleasure to meet most of the Avengers yet, so maybe after all this crap was over, that could be something that happens. The flyers seemed to have it under control for the moment, and from what she could tell from her position, the Capitol Hill wasn’t doing too bad either. She took a second to look up and noticed that there were two of the whale things, from what she could see,
Wiping her hands on her pants just to be sure, she glanced back out to the flying crew and loaded up an exploding arrow. The chariots blew apart like balloons from what she remembered Clint telling her. “Incoming TNT shot.” she gave Sam the warning so he could maybe warn the other two, but before she could fire one of the chariots veered off and took the kid with wings with it. She decided that one would be the best shot to take so the three of them could regroup and maybe distract the rest of the Chitlians long enough to get at the Leviathans.
She let her arrow fly and waited for it to attach to the chariot before setting it off. The resulting explosion was fairly loud, and less flashy than she thought it would be.
But a twitching black mass caught the corner of her eye after another explosion happened. “Heads up there’s another thing on the street. I can’t tell what from here though.” She warned Sam just in case it became a problem. Right now though, she was focusing on firing off shots at the chariots to try and take out what she could before they were too far out of range for her. A clambering sound, and definite alien noises came from behind her and she sharply turned before having to dodge out of the way and use the bio weapony tips on the Chitauri that came up to crash her party. They must have seen her get scooped up and whisked off to the roof.
“Oh shit.” She breathed as another one dove at her, and she barely had enough room to back up or it would squash her. Kate found her chance to regain her footing, and scramble over to another corner to catch a glimpse of what was going on below them. “Someone's gonna have to take out another one of the whale things. Think you and your flying buddies can handle that Falcon?” She could take out footsoldiers and even the chariots so long as she wasn’t about to get swamped, which now she was paranoid and kept checking over her shoulders.
Liberated. That is how it felt as it swung through the city - this Nation's capitol; so close and yet so far from a host that would give it an incredible amount of power. But to be bonded to a man who is expected to sit around all day, and would be followed everywhere when he did leave... It would all be too intrusive. The current host was more than capable of serving for the whole's survival, and his own personal damage made Flash Thompson very suitable, given his own desire to be bonded. To him, they were just a means to an end - he could walk, serve his country, and he got to imitate his idol. He had no reason to want to be rid of the Symbiote - and that made him perfect.
Perfect, like his movements through the sky now that he'd relinquished himself to the duality of the symbiote. It released its web, letting momentum carry it towards one of the Chitauri's chariots, grasping the machine in both hands and spinning mid-air to throw it into another. The carnage was a thing of glory, and Venom relished in every moment of it, knowing that it would have to give up this freedom later to keep up the facade. More chariots raced past, ahead of the Symbiote. One quick shot of a web and they were hooked - quickly pulling themselves up to climb onto the alien vehicle. Its jaws stretched open - wider than its host could do alone - and tore at the throat of the first Chitauri that it got to. That got the attention of the others, which quickly moved to try and stop Venom, only to find themselves on the wrong end of its claws. Torn open and tossed aside, only the pilot was left - and in one clean, swift motion with an arm that shifted into a blade, only the pilot's body remained. Its head tumbled off and fell towards the ground, as did the Chariot soon enough.
Venom leapt off the chariot, spotting a group of humans in the sky - or, one human, and two mutants from the looks of them. There was sure to be some fresh meat wherever the goody-goodies went, more Chitauri that Venom could tear apart and be thanked for it later. So it swung over to the three flying "heroes," and shot out a few tendrils to attach to buildings and the street below, letting Venom hang in the air like a spider on its web. The sickly grin on its face wouldn't fade - in fact, it hardly looked like it had lips to cover the pointed, carnivorous teeth that made it up. "Hey, gang - so, what's the plan? We want to tear into more of these things, so let's get to it. All for the greater good, right?"
At any other time, it wouldn't speak to these creatures - hosts in case its current one became lost to it. But right now, they could probably lead Venom to more Chitauri; more to kill, more to feel free while its freedom lasted, until it could get loose permanently. Then, it would set about real work - it would set about finding the Spider and finally making him pay for rejecting it. Just the thought caused Venom's tongue to snake out between some of its teeth, lapping its face as it would lips in anticipation for a meal.

”If this is the worst thing that happens to me, I think I’ll be fine.” Falcon told Kate with a grin. ”Now go kick some ass,” That having been said, he made is dramatic exit. He flew towards the light at Kate’s direction. Though now that he thought about it that probably wasn’t the best idea. He was fairly certain you were never supposed to actively go towards the light. It never worked well for that person. Catching sight of the blaze of light plummet from the sky like a shooting star Sam frowned and increased his speed. He had no idea who or what the light was but that fall did not look natural and until proven otherwise he was going to assume they were a friendly.
However he needn't have worried. The light’s companion quickly dove into the rescue. Facon briefly wondered if the 2nd party could somehow see through that blazing light. For all he knew it was as possible as something or someone being able to produce it. His own goggles struggles to find a way to cut through the light rays and fix on the thing in the center of the tiny nova but to no avail.
Drawing closer he was able to identify Icarus but not the formerly falling star. ” ‘Preciate it man. We could use every hand we can get.” From what he had been able to tell the kid had been handling himself pretty well. If Falcon hadn’t see that with his own two eyes he might have protested Icarus’ involvement. He was here to protect innocents, not allow them to involve themselves in dangerous situations; but like he’d said earlier they did need every hand they could get. Their resources were woefully divided.
Icarus wasn’t terribly chatty, not that Falcon could blame him, this wasn’t exactly a social call after all. Chariots flew at them doing their best to divide their little group. Falcon swooped and dodged doing everything he could not remain in the sky while taking down as many chariots as he could. Narrowly missing getting speared by one of the Chitauris, Falcon took a hard left trying to get as much distance between his self and the pointy weapon while he reloaded his empty gun. Only he hadn’t taken into account the fact a Leviathan had come up to check out the party. Falcon swerved hard once more to keep himself from flying right into it’s side. Only his action managed to catch the beast’s attention. For the second time Falcon found himself racing away from the giant creatures.
Remembering that Kate was nearby he figured he could lead the leviathan by her. Maybe she had a trick or two in that quiver of hers to help take the thing down.

"Savin' my bacon certainly is at the top'a my list," Al threw him a grin, and then immediately killed it, for his sake. Oops. She had to admit, she was pretty impressed. Not just at the very conveniently timed saving of her skin, but also at how he was handling himself. She didn't think he'd seen much in way of hairy situations like she and some of the other bandmates had. Also? Despite being up close and personal during a neo-nazi attack, she wasn't exactly immune to losing her shit when her friends were in danger. Even if she'd been the one doing the saving, she was pretty sure good ol' Kentucky Fried Bassist would be getting at least one 'thank god you're alive' kiss.
"He's a sweetiepie that way," Al chimed in when Jay talked about stepping in and doing what he could. Just one of the many reasons she was proud to be his friend.
And apparently the army was packing a goop monster. Or... someone was packing a goop monster. "Friend'a yours?" Al turned to Falcon, since said tar-like blob arrived not long after the muscle-bound soldier with the nice set of wings. Almost as nice as the one her friend sported. "'R are ya just another concerned, albeit creepy-ass citizen?" Watching it lap its... ... tar teeth with what seemed to be a flesh colored, but impossibly long tongue was distracting, fascinating, and kinda gross.
With more Chitauri coming inbound, though, she wasn't able to pay attention long. Helping out Jay, the other guy with wings, and the wet arrival were top priority. With as juiced as she was, though? She made short work of the ones hers friends didn't take out, affording them a brief breather to discuss what was coming next. It seemed like Jay was gonna fight more of the Chitauri, and the winged guy was intent on distracting the sky-whale, which left her and the thing dripping from the buildings.
"Uhhh... Blob, how 'bout y'an' me fly t'the farside an' go get the other two sky-whales." She'd have to pry him down from his spot, though and... yeah, no. The rocker might not've been the most feminine gal around, but getting herself covered in goo with a mind of its own wasn't her idea of a fun time. Some things you just couldn't wash out. So that meant she'd have to get creative. Concentrating, she formed a light basket under the Gooey and cradled him in it.
With the Leviathan coming in as fast as those sky-whales could manage, the living sun was barely able to dodge it in time, though it was doing a damn valiant job at trying to avoid her. Some of the Chitauri and Chitlians were swarming her way again, but the light she was emitting kept their aims wide for the most part. Swinging the basket, she put Goo in contact with a few while she lasered down others, still flying through the air to close the distance between them and the last two Leviathans.
Before too long, they came up on the pair, that were flying in close, but trying to diverge to avoid her since she was probably burning out whatever equivalent to retinas they had. "Alright, Tar-man, let's see what you can do." Stretching out the basket, she flipped it over the back of the Leviathan on her right, leaving it to take care of the alien whale while she planted herself firmly on the one on the left. Not surprisingly, a whole bunch of aliens attempted to swarm her, even if they were fighting against the kind of light that crept under their eyelids and blinded them anyway.
When some got close, she flared an aura of light radiation so intense that it sent some of the Chitauri around her on fire in one moment, then blew them apart in the next until they were little more than cindering bits of flesh on the wind. Closing her eyes, Al lasered down through the Leviathan and kept going, slicing up until she split it from the base of its... skull to its snout. Before she was even done, the sky-whale started hurdling toward the ground.
@jay One down, two to go! Think we're in a position to take them out. If not this round, then next.
“Fer good reason.” Jay said, half joking. Part of him was freaking out about all of this but if he was going to be of any use to anyone in this situation, he had to put it out of his mind until less aliens were in the skies. It wasn’t a situation he was entirely accustomed to, and bringing the closest memory to what it did remind him of did not make him feel better. Made him feel worse, actually. As long as his focus was on helping people, he could block out the other stuff. Being actually dead for a minute and then just coming back because you had a regeneration power wasn’t exactly something you told everyone.
“Ah noticed. What, exactly, brought on tha second invasion?” Jay asked, though he didn’t expect an answer more than ‘it’s classified.’ “Aw, shucks.” Jay said, more in a joking tone in response to both comments. “And here Ah thought ah was gettin’ more manly.” That was before a chariot crashed into him and took him away from the group. Just as he was trying to regain control of his own flight and not get stabbed or something by the Chitauri on the chariot. He’d rather not have that happen, even if he could survive it. It would still hurt, after all.
Before he could fully get everything under control, the chariot exploded, sending it and its driver down in the sky below. Jay managed to regain control and fly out of the way, but several bits of shrapnel had struck him, not that it mattered in the long scheme of things as his body set to work pushing them out and he kept flying, mostly avoiding Chitauri or causing them to crash into each other, because like Falcon, he was much faster and more graceful than any of the flying machines that the Chitauri possessed.
He noted the dark...amorphous blob…thing, that seemed to enjoy killing the Chituari, at least as far as he could tell through his glimpses of the thing. Hopefully it would remain on their side, because they really didn’t need an extra thing to fight. The music he’d been producing had stopped, since Ali and Black Blob were heading off after the Leviathans, and she was still glowing like the sun. If she needed it again, he’d provide it. Falcon and whoever the sniper on their side was seemed to be concentrated on one sky whale, while Ali easily lasered the other one into oblivion, dropping the viscous black man? onto the back of the last one.
The man (known as Venom), pushed off the basket of light Ali had generated for him and shot webbing down on the beast's plated armor. He flips so his arms go back, keeping his grip on the webbing - as he hits ground, he pulls with enough force to, soon enough, tear the section of armor off the Leviathan's back. It turned on its heel, leaping towards the now-exposed section of the Leviathan and tearing away at the flesh until it could see bone. This accomplished, a pair of grenades moved up and onto its shoulders, soon held over the hole by tendrils. That same tongue snaked out, looping through the pins before yanking both out and spitting them away, Venom dropping the grenades in to the Leviathan's spine before leaping off, relishing in the following explosion and descent of the beast. Its smile could never fade, but somehow it seemed to grow wider as the monster crashed onto Chitauri and humans alike in the streets below.
Jay managed to grab some of those people, but not enough. He decidedly disliked the black blob man. Already the forces in charge of Agent Venom were heading to recover the man, and one of Flash's superiors was literally yelling into the man's earpiece, ripping him a new one about dropping it on Army forces with no forewarning and putting several civilians in danger.
Aside from keeping some of the Chitauri off their backs, there wasn’t really much he could do in terms of support, after that. The army that was there was doing fairly well against the ground troops, and even against the chariots, and two of the Leviathans were down already. Hanging back so that Ali could use her power at a full level, Jay kept an eye out, ready to assist whoever needed it.
It was then that the army managed to push its way through the rest of the ground troops, getting ready to fire on the remaining Leviathan, since Ali's had fallen and was currently twitching as it plummeted toward the ground, throwing the Chitauri and Chitlian on its back into the buildings, and they'd already seen Venom's fall down into the streets below. Waiting for a clear shot as not to the disturb Falcon , the Army fired with tanks on that Leviathan. Anti-Aircraft missiles were also launched at the thing, and the combined attacks took it down. The damage to DC was heavy, but many of the monuments and people were still standing. The army was beginning a fall back, and begin to send out rescue and recovery teams.
And they survived without the assistance of the Avengers; just SHIELD, a Classified Army Agent and two concerned citizens.
