olling her eyes heavily, Bobbi shook her head. Right now she was thinking of attack plans, not dinner. And she’d been smart grabbing snacks and stuff to eat on the plane. She had more in her bag on the jet when they headed home too. But for now, the adrenaline was too high and her body was in fight or flight mode.
One of the things that Bobbi was learning to appreciate about the Asgardians was that they were pretty badass. Mostly she was glad they were on Midgard’s side. Without them, she feared there would be no chance in hell, especially now. Even though Loki was one of them, and had proven to be quite unhelpful in previous endeavours, he seemed to be back on track now. If he had any bit of deception, the ideas of using one of the Chitauri staff things to shoot his sorry ass was high on her list of ‘things to do later’.
Dum-Dum calling her mom ended with her glaring at him. “Really? All I said was now’s not the time, smartass.” She heard one of the Chitauri staffs fire and she rolled out of the way before it had a chance to hit her. She fired off two shots into the one that fired at her. “Dugan, take the alley, I’ll cover you, see if you can find a way around to the backside of this group so we can surprise them.”
Behind her she heard the roar of the Leviathan as Loki and Baldr seemed to attack it. “Nevermind Dum-Dum, Just duck for cover!” She bolted backwards so the shock wave from the Leviathan crashing into the ground wouldn’t knock her over. An overturned car made for great cover and when the monstrous flying thing hit the ground, and ducked farther into herself until the grinding noise and cracking of the concrete ceased.

Luckily, getting close to the beast and wrapping an arm around his brother’s waist before gripping his sword with both hands as he dug it deeply into the creature to ground them both seemed to work and the crash didn’t manage to upset them from their positions.
Standing again, he pulled his sword from the beast’s flesh as Loki vanished the weapon he’d been using. Baldr carefully clamored down from the creature’s back with Loki following closely behind him and a brief glance around the area told him that the beasts in this section were essentially taken care of now, except for the few stragglers near where the Lady Bobbi and the Agent Dugan were ducked carefully away to be protected from the creature’s impact.
By the time Baldr and Loki had made their way back to them, those aliens, too, were taken care of. They still had much to do here, however. “I propose that we handle the remaining Leviathans in a similar manner while you two continue to hold the ground areas,” Baldr suggested, “As Loki and I now know a valid way of destroying the creatures in the sky.” It was perhaps not the best idea, but it was a workable one and was clearly at least somewhat effective. He could see no easier way to complete the task.
This area seemed to be doing well now that the tangent of Chitauri that had attacked it was taken care of, although there was quite a lot of damage to the area. “Or perhaps Loki could take the Lady Bobbi to one of the Leviathan creatures and send the Agent Dugan and I to the other and we could attempt to take down two at once while the rest of your Agents hold the field down here?” he suggested as an alternate solution. He trusted the Lady Bobbi with his brother far more than he trusted the Agent Dugan, who seemed more likely to create a ‘friendly fire’ issue.
“What say you?” he asked of the others, Loki being strangely quiet at his shoulder.[/style][style=width: 401px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; background-color:#fcf76b; text-align:right; color: #333333;]z inactive timothydugan. @bobbi . TEMPLATE BY OH SO COOPERNATURAL ! @ CAUTION.[/style]

Dum Dum just smiled at Bobbi but didn’t say anything further. Bobbi apparently was not in the mood. Ah well, she was young. She’d soon learn that you had to find enjoyment where you could or else you’d go mad. Then again, considering the fact that she hadn’t lived the life span of two people nor had dedicated nearly half that time to the same organization she probably would have a hard time seeing where he was coming from. That was fine, most people did. But he had spent the majority of his life jumping into one danger or another first with the army, then with SHIELD, and it started to take it’s toll on you. Gallow’s humor was what he thought it was called. Finding humor even in the worst situations. He’d picked it up sometime during World War II and had never quite given it up.
Nodding his head to let Bobbi know he had understood her, he had started making his way towards the alley she had pointed out only to throw himself behind a pillar for the impact. That was quite the dramatic entrance if he did say so himself, but seeing as how Loki was involved he wasn’t all that surprised. At least the man hadn’t gone all Dr Strangelove on them and ridden the creature down like a Cowboy rides a bull, swinging a hat in the air wildly.
Dum Dum waited a moment as the small shock wave from the impact died down before peering out from behind his hiding spot. It seems like a few of the nearby Chitauris had the same idea. By the time Balder and Loki had rejoined them Dum Dum had taken care of the few remaining aliens. He gave a shrug at Balder’s suggestion. ”I’m good either way,” The prospect of getting to take down one of the Leviathans was an interesting one. They were monstrous whale like creatures and so it would take quite a bit of work to bring them crashing down. Might be fun.
He could understand Balder’s reluctance to leave him alone with Loki. While Dum Dum wouldn’t outright kill, maim, or injure the trickster (he was not that much of a jerk and had no desire to answer to Fury later), Dum Dum would have no problem roughing up the Asgardian at all. Though come to think of it considering the fact that Asgardians tended to be naturally stronger than humans in general, he might be the one getting roughed up. ”Lead on McDuff, I’m ready to take down a sky whale.”

odding, Bobbi took the opportunity of being behind cover to reload her weapons and be ready for the next wave when they could appear, and made sure that she was not going to get impacted by the blow from the Leviathan hitting the ground. With a sigh, she stepped out from behind the vehicle, guns aimed, just to be on the safe side. Dum-Dum seemed to have it handled, which was fine by her. When Baldr and Loki seem to have appeared from within the Leviathan, she was glad to see that they were unharmed. At Baldr's suggestion, she was unsure if she liked the idea of leaving Loki and his brother alone again. However, Bobbi did not mind the suggestion of going with Loki to keep him out of trouble.
Taking down the Leviathans would be a great relief given how many Chitauri were concealed within them. The more they can take down, the quicker this would end and they could go back to assist where they were needed. At this point, she was pretty sure that they would be needed back in New York City, the that remained to be seen. “I'll take Loki, if we take down the other two then we only have to worry about what's left on the ground.”, Since Dum-Dum didn't seem to care much about the decision, Bobbi thought this might be the best idea given their options. And if they could take down more Chitauri with the Leviathans, she was all for that kind of option.
“I'm ready when you are Loki, and if you fuck me over, I'll make sure you pay for it.” Bobbi figured she had a pretty good hold on Loki, knowing that he seemed to take fairly well to her, Given that they had to work together off and on for the last little while. No thanks to Fury and his wonderful orders. PR had not been one of the most favorite things she had done for SHIELD but, in all honesty, there could be worse things.
“My, my, Lady Bobbi, that is definitely not something that I expected from you.” The trickster replied, a wicked curl in his smile.
“Well, lead on and let's get on with it.” Bobbi motioned down the street so they could find where the other Leviathans were. There were worse people that she could be doing this job with, so when all consideration Loki was not that bad. Except for his attitude. That was not something that Bobbi had ever cared for.
She and Loki, slightly begrudgingly, headed down the street to what she thought was town square. that would give them a good vantage point to see what kind of things were in the air still. On comms, she could shatter from some of the other agents that were on the ground. It was sounding fairly hopeful, minus the Chitlians some of them were still facing. That meant they had a good handle on the situation. “Alright Loki, we can take that one,” she pointed off towards her left, “And the other two, can take that one.” Bobby then pointed straight ahead of her, tapping her comms to pass the message along to Balder and Dum-Dum.
“Your wish is my command, Lady Bobbi.” Loki stated quite sarcastically. within moments, they were upon the Leviathan getting in position to take that one out.
“We're probably going to have to drop this one in the water.” Bobbi noted, just to be sure that there would be less destruction within the city.

He knew that Loki could take care of himself, and despite the Lady Bobbi's words, she would not be injuring him today. Loki would focus on the fight at hand. At least, that was what Baldr hoped. His brother could be quite willful, but he also knew that Loki knew better than anyone what was at stake here.
The remaining Leviathans were not far away, and Baldr's sword was still enchanted from Loki's earlier spell. Drawing his spare sword, he took a moment to imbue it with his light before handing it off to the Agent Dugan. "The heat from the light will help it in cutting through the creature," he explained, "But the effect will not last long." In truth, it would not be as effective as the spell that Loki had cast, but it was the best that he could do.
Placing a hand on the Agent Dugan's shoulder as Loki caught his eyes, they were soon transported to the top of one of the creatures, Baldr carefully steadying the other man in case Loki's magic did not agree with him. Teleportations could be quite discomforting, especially the first few times. Swinging his sword into his hands again, he took to hacking at the creature underneath them. "We need to break through to the creature's brain!" he told the Midgardian, hoping that they could manage that.
There was a tickle at the back of his mind that he knew to be Loki checking up on him, so Baldr gently shoved his brother back to his own duties and redoubled his focus on the task at hand. There was still much that he and the Agent Dugan needed to do before this creature was taken care of.[/style][style=width: 401px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; background-color:#fcf76b; text-align:right; color: #333333;]z inactive timothydugan. @bobbi. Dum Dum accepted the blade from Balder turning it this way and that admiring the light that came from it. He had no doubt that whatever the other man had done had done something to improve the blade’s ability but he had never wielded a blade before. Sure, with the modification made to it, it might be more powerful than his guns but without the skill to wield it he’d probably wind up getting himself hurt. Would it horribly offend the Asgardian if he rejected his gift of a weapon?
Before he could so much as turn to the other man Dum Dum found himself standing on top of the Leviathan they were sent to kill. Disoriented he found himself doubling over trying to to heave as the large alien hurtled through the sky. Nothing about this was okay. They were supposed to kill this creature while standing on top of it? Was Balder mad? He wasn’t made from the same stuff Asgardians were - they were practically gods. He was a fragile human. If he was forced to ride that thing down Dr. Strangelove style he would most likely wind up dead at the end.
After a moment the vertigo passed and Dum Dum was able to stand up. ”Warn a guy next time will ya?” His stomach lurched as he caught a glimpse of what was waiting below them. He’d never been afraid of heights before but this seemed like a good time to start. ”Okay need to take out the brain,’ He muttered to himself. Well, he always knew he wasn’t going to die at home, he just hadn’t figured it would be on the back of a space whale. Grimacing he stormed up to the head of the creature doing his best not to fall off, raising the blade over his head he rammed it into the creature’s skull but he barely even scratched the skin, he was not strong enough to drive the blade through bone and into the creature’s brain.

ithin moments of the decision, Loki teleported Baldr and Dum-Dum first so he knew they would be safe upon their Leviathan before repeating the process with himself and Lady Bobbi.
Bobbi did the same thing as Dum-Dum. It hadn’t been something she expected, and found herself clutching onto Loki’s arm, and feeling her stomach tie itself in knots with the sudden change in elevation and speed. It sent her for a doozy, and she wasn’t too sure if she was going to be able to stand for very long. “Good Christ….” she mumbled to herself as Loki kept a firm hand on her. it took her a moment to get back together before she could look straight ahead without feeling like she was going to pass out. It was such a weird feeling.
Once she was steady on her feet, Loki explained the plan of getting at the creature’s brain to take it out. Bobbi looked at him incredulously, and dig out her batons from her thighs and clicked them together into her staff. The electrical element in it wouldn’t probably do anything, but it was worth a shot.
Loki looked lost in thought for a moment before turning his attention back on Bobbi and smirking slightly. “May I?” He held out his hand for the staff knowing what just might make it more useful for their mission of the moment.
Reluctantly, Bobbi handed it over, keeping a close eye on Loki. Even though he was apparently on their side, she was quite nervous about his willingness, even to the point of paranoia sometimes. His waved his hands over the core of the staff where the power source was, giving it a magical boost, and adding a strength only an Asgardian could give it. Bobbi took it back and felt the weight difference, and hoped it would do enough good that they could take this stupid whale down.
Neither of them could pay much attention to what the other two were doing on the others were doing on the other Leviathan. Bobbi followed Loki carefully up towards the head of the creature so they could make their move on the giant. Loki used his magic to disorient the Leviathan making it dive and swerve a bit, and Bobbi took her staff, slamming the newly fortified metal into the thick skin of the leviathan giving it the overwhelming shock that Loki amped the thing up to.
The Leviathan dropped a few meters, letting out a massive roar, clearly now aware that there were creatures on its back attempting to kill it. Its head reared, knocking Bobbi off balance, and she slid, tripping onto her back. Loki managed to catch her before she slid off the head of the creature, as they slid down it’s back a ways before the trickster dug a knife into the hide, halting their descent. once it evened out again, Loki hauled Bobbi back to her feet, and she took a second to be stable before they both headed back up to the head to give it another blast. The last one sent it off course and the Leviathan headed straight for a highrise tower, smashing into a corner of the building rocking them around. They didn’t slip this time.
Bobbi hit the controls on her staff again giving the Leviathan’s brain another bout of frying and Loki hit it with one of his spells, giving it another dose of disorientation. It dove lower, hoping to take the parasites it deemed were trying to kill it, off its back so it could continue the attack they were sent for. There was an underpass, and it dove into that. Loki and Bobbi both had to duck, to keep their heads, and Bobbi hit it once more with the overpowered staff blast, and it crashed into the pavement, sliding up through the end of the underpass, leaving a ripple effect in the pavement in its wake.
“Is it dead?” Bobbi asked, digging her staff out and sliding off of it’s head onto the pavement when the whale-like creature finally made a full stop.
“It does appear to be. Let me make sure.” Loki replied with a grin, staying upon it’s head and pulling his own staff out of thin air. Stabbing it down into the head of the beast, where Bobbi’s staff previously resided, he twisted it just to be sure they hit something major. Something twitched, and then it ceased to move. “I am satisfied that the creature is deceased.” He confirmed, sliding down and jumping off the head to join Bobbi on the ground. “Now, I believe the Agent Dugan, and mine Brother must complete their task just the same. Are you capable of rejoining the SHIELD agents from here, Lady Bobbi?” Loki asked, thinking he should perhaps join his brother to provide a final hand, if he wished.
“Yeah, yeah go. I’m good.” Bobbi confirmed, taking her staff apart, and sliding the baton pieces back into her thigh holsters. She gave him a half assed salute before jogging off to join the quinjet crew waiting for them a few blocks back.
