Military and SHIELD Training: John has received extensive training in almost every military and covert skill the armed forces and SHIELD have to offer.
Combat Master: John is a Master of gymnastics, acrobatics, martial arts, wepons and firearms. He has studied Captain America's fighting style and can emulate many of his moves. His intensive practice with the shield he was issued allows him to accomplish many of the same feats with it as Cap.

Fingerless gloves made from dark brown leather complete his uniform.
Shield: This is a round bulletproof shield identical in size and shape to Cap's shield. It is made from a Vibranium alloy. It is nearly indestructible and highly aerodynamic. PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT:
LIKES:
General George S. Patton: "May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won’t." In John's opinion, there was no greater American, or soldier.
Combat: John loves to test himself against others in combat. This doesn't necessarily have to be a deathmatch, it could just be sparing with someone in the gym.
Sports: Well, maybe not all sports. John enjoys football, rugby, Australian rules football, and anything where the players get battered during play.
Heavy Metal and Hard Rock Music: John likes anything with a hard beat and screaming guitars. He enjoys a wide variety, ranging from Anthrax to ZZ Top.
Steve Rogers: Maybe like is the worng word, admire would probably be more appropriate. John admires Steve's tactical ability, loyalty, and determination. He feels these are all very desirable qualities in a soldier. However ...,
[/ul]
DISLIKES:
Coconut: It's not the taste, it's the texture.
Anti-Patriots: While John feels it's every American's duty to protest against wrong-doings by their government, he detests people who will protest anything in order to attack their own country.
Traitors: This doesn't just apply to people who betray their country, but to anyone who betrays another's trust.
Being Confused With Cap: It irritates him to no end when someone calls him 'Cap.' Even though it was made clear to him that he would eventually replace him, calling him 'Cap,' 'Captain,' or 'Captain America' makes him feel like a wannabe.
Rap, Hip-Hop, and Dubstep: He can't really explain to you why, but these styles of music seem to grate on John's nerves.
[/ul]
STRENGTHS:
Covert Training: John has exceled in his training as a SHIELD field agent.
Determined: Once John sets a goal for himself, he doesn't let anything get in the way of accomplishing it.
Loyal: He will fight to the death to defend anyone who's proven themselves his friend.
[/ul]
WEAKNESSES:
Grating Personality: John is bluntly honest, and often seems to be uncaring of others' feelings.
Bull-headed: John is very stubborn about doing things his way. He will often ignore the orders or opinions of others on how to proceed with a situation.
[/ul]
GOALS:
Replace Steve Rogers as Captain America. John dosen't feel as if Steve Rogers properly represents modern America. He feels it's time for a new Captain America for a new age.
Prove that he is a hero. This is from a lifetime spent trying to match his brother's reputation.
Defend his country. This is more important to him than any of his other goals. John will drop everything else in order to protect his country and its citizens.
[/ul]
FEARS:
Failing: More than anything John fears failing to live up to his own somewhat unrealistic ideas about heroism.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
To say that John is a man obsessed would be a gross understatement. He is consumed with proving he can be every bit of a hero as his brother, and with becoming a new symbol for America. This obsession has given him an almost unshakeable drive and determination to accomplish any goals he sets for himself.
People who don't know John might think he's a bully. He is loud, bull-headed, stubborn, and brutally honest sometimes. But underneath that crude exterior lies a loyal, protective, determined, and fearless patriot willing to fight to the death for his friends, family, and his beliefs.
His more loveable side seems to come out when he's relaxing. While he is intelligent, don't expect a heavy conversation on philosophy and the existence of God while he's trying to relax. Just sit back, chill, have a slice and a beer while making dumb jokes at the lastest Mission: Impossible movie.

OVERALL HISTORY: four
John Walker was born to Caleb and Emily Walker in the small town of Custer's Grove, Georgia. He is the youngest of three siblings, his older brother, Michael, and sister, Kate. Growing up he idolized his brother Michael, a military helicopter pilot who died tragically in Afghanistan. After graduating high school and against his mother's wishes, John joined the Marines in an attempt to further his brother's legacy and to prove himself a hero.
For the next ten years John served his country honorably, gathering medals and accolades for ecellent service. Still something seemed to be missing. He felt dissatisfied with what he was doing, like nothing was ever good enough.
Leaving the military, John wandered seemingly lost until one day he got a visitor. It was a recruiter for SHIELD. He was told that with his experience he would make short work out of his training and quickly become a field agent. John eagerly agreed to join, seeing yet another opportunity to push himself further along his path.
The agent sent to recruit him was right, he did finish his training in record time. He soon found himself on various missions taking out what he thought were enemies of the state. Little did he know that he'd been dupped by HYDRA moles into serving their interests, and that they had bigger plans for him.
He was approached by his superiors in SHIELD (secretly HYDRA agents), and convinced him that Steve Rogers was quickly becoming more of a problem than a solution. They wanted to replace Cap with John. He would have to go through something they called 'The Power Broker Process' in order to enhance his physical abilities.
Unsure at first, John was soon convinced that it was the right thing to do. Who the hell was Rogers to think he could represent all of America? Rogers' thinking was still mired in his 1940s sensibilities. John could much better represent modern America than Cap. The 21st century needed a 21st century Captain America!
John almost instantly regretted it as he went through their process. It involved seven different, very painful treatments involving huge needles injecting the serum directly into his muscles and his bone marrow. It worked! He was faster, much stronger, and had more stamina than he'd ever had before.
He was quickly put to work training. Studying Cap's fighting style, he quickly managed to emulate it, and was given his own shield to practice with. Soon he was ready to replace Cap, but he was held back for some reason. John was given a new uniform, and a new code name, U.S. Agent. His superiors weren't quite ready to get rid of Rogers permenantly, and forced John to wait. Meanwhile, he kept up with doing missions for SHIELD (HYDRA) while he waited for his opportunity to finally prove himself.
