El has been with the site for nearly two years now and has continued to prove her value. Currently, she is heading up our site event, Battle for Liberterram, on top of keeping up with her own personal plots.
Lux's posts are all wonderful to read. She has done a wonderful job of grasping the new universe and incorporating Peggy into it.
It's good to see Spidey back on the site. Watching him deal with the universe shift in his own snarky way has been nothing short of entertaining.
Eight O'Clock on the Dot!
El and Lux are making magic in this thread. Straight up fireworks, and the way they've played with drawing out the reveal is top class.
With a new skin comes a new plot and we have a big one!
As many of you know, we have integrated much of the original Norse Myth into characters and storyline around here, and there is something big coming to Midgard. If you have been reading posts involving Baldr, then you know that his visions of his death have been getting worse and that he feels Ragnarok is imminent. Who better to bring it about than the Mad Titan Thanos?
Soon, the Chitauri will be upping their game, and as such SHIELD and their allies will have to as well. During their study of Midgard and its responses to previous attacks, they have discovered weak points in their defenses that will be their targets this time around. Teams will be dispatched to the locations that the Chitauri touch down on in order to stop them from destabilizing their targets.
The Brotherhood will take notice of this development, and use it to gain successes of their own, hoping to steal the data that will let them know the plans for Mutant Registration and how they can stop it.
In the shadows of SHIELD, something is still brewing. Fury has long thought that there are moles within the ranks, delivering information on them to their enemies and taking missions apart from the inside. His fears have been proven right and its hard to know who to trust. These moles are clearly working for someone dangerous, and there is no way to know how deep the infection goes, or even if it is only a singular one. He does know that at least some of these spies are in Thanos' ranks, and as such he's closing his own ranks; pulling those he trusts closer in.
The Asgardian ruler, Odin, cannot stay silent for long. Surely with Thanos approaching he will realize that he needs to support Midgard in their time of need or risk losing everything?
