[PTabbedContent][PTab=GENERAL INFORMATION] CHARACTER INFO: NAME: Victor Creed ALIAS: Sabretooth, Der Schlächter ("The Butcher" in German), Slasher, Graydon Creed Sr. AGE: 190 OCCUPATION: Assassin, Mercenary, Terrorist, A Bad Man MEMBER GROUP: Villains POWERS AND ABILITIES: Regenerative Healing Factor: Creed’s primary mutation is his accelerated healing ability which allows him to regenerate and repair damaged portions of his body at a rate far beyond the range of a normal human. His regenerative factors allows for foreign chemical immunity, immunity to disease, weather insulated adaption, extended longevity and superhuman stamina. Superhuman Strength: Between the benefits of his healing factor and his adamantium laced skeleton, Victor has been clocked at being able to lift roughly up to 10 tons. Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: His feral mutation allows him to have balance, and reflexes far beyond the capabilities of the finest athletes. Superhuman Acute Senses: Creed can see farther and clearer than any ordinary human; not unlike an animal. His enhanced vision also allows him to see in near-total darkness with the same clarity as if it were daylight. His hearing is so advanced that he would be able to hear a person breathing lightly up to a distance of roughly 200 feet away. And also pick up sounds that normal humans can’t with a rough range of several miles. His sense of smell is so acute that he is able to track a scent, human or otherwise, even if the scent has faded or been compromised by time or weather conditions. His sense of taste is just as developed as his other senses. Claws and Fangs: Creed’s physical mutation is evident by his elongated canines and the retractable claws on his hands and feet. Hand-to-Hand and Weapons Combat: Over the years, Victor has had extensive training in various forms of combat from various organizations and individuals (CIA, Weapon X, the Foreigner, HYDRA and The Hand). He is also skilled in the use of various weapons and assassination techniques. Tracking and Hunting: Even without his superhuman senses, Victor is a highly skilled hunter and tracker. Intelligence: Despite appearances, Victor is in fact a highly intelligent individual. While he had no formal education during his youth, he is a quick study. And he has taught himself in various disciplines. He can fluently speak several languages, including (but not limited to): Spanish, Russian, German, Japanese, French and Arabic. Adamantium laced skeleton/claws: Victor’s latest encounter with the Weapon X program has left him with a skeleton that has been bonded with adamantium. Resistance to telepathy: After years of having his mind tampered with (telepathically and otherwise), and an injury to his frontal lobe, Creed has developed some resistance to telepathy; making it difficult or impossible (depending on the level of the telepath) for him to be located, read or controlled, telepathically. PLAYBY: Paul Levesque OOC INFO: PLAYER NAME: Red AGE: 30 GENDER: Male TIMEZONE: EST OTHER CHARACTERS: None. [/PTab][PTab=PERSONNEL ASSESSMENT] PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT: LIKES: The outdoors - While Creed is far from what he'd call a 'tree hugging hippie', he loves being outdoors. Something about being in wide open spaces speaks to him on a primal level. Steak - Nothing quite hits the spot like a big, juicy steak. The bloodier, the better. Beer - Sure, he knows his way around a good vintage wine or a solid scotch...but what really hits the spot for Creed at the end of the day is a nice cold beer. Or twelve. Fighting/Killing - Creed loves a fight and is always willing to start (or finish) one. Permanently. Money -.Money makes the world go ‘round and Victor Creed will do (and has done) just about anything for it. The way he sees it: just because he's an animal doesn’t mean he has to be a poor one. DISLIKES: Cages - Freedom has always been important to Victor. And a cage is a physical representation of the complete opposite of freedom. Authority figures - No one likes being told what to do. Even if they're getting paid for it. Victor is no exception. Boredom - Sitting still too long, waiting in line at Burger King, reading Shakespeare...these are just a few things that Victor finds boring. And if there's one thing he hates...it's being bored. (Although, on the bright side, bad things happen to other people when Victor gets bored) Bleeding Hearts - There have been people that Victor has encountered in his lifespan who, at one point, have believed that he could be somehow redeemed. Or that he wasn't all bad. How some people could be that stupid is both a mystery and an annoyance to Victor. Cat/Kitten Jokes - A sure fire way to get on Victor’s bad side is to make a cat/kitten joke. In his lengthy lifespan he has heard them all. And no matter how many times people say them...they're still not funny. STRENGTHS: Intelligence - Because of his appearance and animalistic nature, most people underestimate Victor's level of intelligence. Truthfully, he is highly intelligent. A fact that he often uses to his advantage. Near immortality - With his healing factor, Victor’s body is in a constant state of regeneration which prevents him from aging or getting sick and protects him from injuries. The ability could essentially make him immortal. Lack of empathy/remorse - Whether it's by nuture or nature, no one knows...Victor does not feel empathy or remorse when it comes to the things that he has done (and will do). It’s a quality that he considers a strength because he doesn't have to worry about stupid things like feelings getting in the way. Or keeping him up at night. WEAKNESSES: Enhanced Senses - While this portion of his mutation is an advantage over others, it can be used against him. High frequency sounds (as well as other high intensity stimuli to his other senses) could be a weakness if used properly against him. Arrogance - Creed’s extreme confidence in his own abilities sometimes leads him to underestimate the capabilities of others. Which is never a good idea in a fight. Being a loner - Victor Simply put: because of the way that he is (callous, cruel, manipulative, etc), Creed has next to no friends or anyone that cares about him. He is essentially alone in the world. And while he enjoys his solitude, he knows that it's him against the world. A world in which most of its population would dance on his grave if he died. He'd never admit it, even to himself, but that thought is a lonely one. Trust Issues - Creed doesn’t trust anyone. Not even a huge portion of his own memories. During his time in the Weapon X program, he has undergone memory tampering...several times.. to the point that most of what he “remembers”, he can't tell if it really happened or was implanted. Bloodlust Struggle - Victor accepts and embraces his savage, animal qualities, he is also aware that he is subject to be consumed by them. Killing for the fun of it? No problem. Going into a bloodlust induced, uncontrollable berserker state? That's a problem. During those moments, he loses himself and becomes more 'rabid, mindless animal' than his usual 'savage man with animal qualities'. He is constantly struggling to keep his mind balanced between man and beast; to avoid going completely feral. Injury/Pain - Victor possesses regenerative abilities, but he is not immune to injury. While he can take some damage, his body requires time to heal from extensive injuries. The more severe an injury to his body, the longer it takes for him to heal from it. He is also not immune to the effects of pain. His ability to heal makes it easier to take, but he can feel pain. (Which makes him an ideal candidate for torture.) Adamantium - Because of the addition of adamantium to his body, Creed's healing factor is slower than it used to be. In the past, an injury like a broken rib would have taken a roughly five minutes to heal. Now,because of the adamantium, it would take closer to thirty minutes to heal. GOALS: Survival - Creed’s strongest instinct and, therefore his most prominent goal, is survival. He will do whatever it takes without hesitation to survive any and every situation. Money - Sure, he's an animal at heart. But he's an animal who, from time to time, enjoys the expensive things in life. And to satisfy those whims, money is needed. The more, the better. Whims can be expensive. FEARS: - Victor’s greatest fear is himself. While he has no problem accepting his own animal/feral nature, deep down he has a fear of completely losing all traces of himself to it. Deep down he fears becoming a mindless animal with no control over himself. OVERALL PERSONALITY: Psychopathic. Manipulative. Dangerous. Those are just a few words that have been used to describe Victor Creed. All of which would be one hundred percent accurate. At first glance, a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that Victor is not much more than a simple minded animal brute. In reality, Victor is a highly intelligent individual. He also exhibits high levels of arrogance, as he is more than confident in his own abilities and skills. A skilled manipulator, Victor knows how to observe those around him and use whatever information that he’s gained to his advantage. He likes to talk trash, but when he does he isn’t just talking just to hear himself talk. Well...not always. He enjoys giving people the raw truth or just generally saying what they don’t want to hear. Pushing people’s buttons is one of his favorite pastimes. When it comes to loyalty, Victor is only completely loyal to himself. Everyone else, for the right price, can rent his loyalty...unless it proves more useful to him to act otherwise. Every now and again, he will align himself with others towards a goal that profits him. However he has no qualms about betraying the people around him to save his own skin. Or, if the price is right, to make a little money. As the subject of more than one clinical study, Victor Creed has been labeled as both a psychopath and a sociopath. Beyond exploiting it in others, empathy is a concept that is completely foreign to him. He will kill on a passing whim and feel nothing that resembles guilt or remorse, after the fact. He is a callous individual who is prone to episodes of boredom which he fills with various and vicious violent activities. Due to his mutation, he has a feral side that he doesn’t try to hide or suppress. However, even Victor is aware of the dangers of completely giving in to his animal nature. And while he won’t stop being what he is, he isn’t in any hurry to completely lose his mind, either. HISTORICAL OVERVIEW: BIRTHPLACE: Somewhere in Canada RESIDENCE: Victor doesn’t stay in one place long enough to have a traditional/regular residence. It’s partially due to his own nature. And it makes him harder to find if he isn’t in the mood to be found. PARENTS: Victor has no memory of his mother. Based on unreliable memories, he believes that she died when he was young. And while his memories of his father are vague...Creed knows one thing for sure. He hated his father. At least, he’s pretty sure that he did. He doesn’t really remember. It should be also noted that due to his time in the Weapon X Program and the things that were done to him, Victor is highly skeptical about any information that he remembers about his past; including his parents. SIBLINGS: Over the years it has been suggested that Creed several siblings: Luthor Creed, Saul Creed, Clara Creed and James “Logan” Howlett (a half-brother). However because of his involvement with the Weapon X program, just like everything related to his past or origins, Creed is highly skeptical about the validity of these claims. IMPORTANT RELATIVES: Graydon Creed - Creed’s disappointingly very human son. IMPORTANT PERSON: The most important person to Victor Creed is Victor Creed. (He might have something that resembles a soft spot for a certain blue-skinned shapeshifter. But good luck getting him to admit it.Ever.) OVERALL HISTORY: As far as he knows, Victor's story began somewhere in Canada. The details of his birth are lost to time. He has conflicting memories in regards to his childhood. One set of memories has his father as a, holier-than-thou, bible-thumping bastard who chained Victor in the family basement and regularly beat him and pulled out his elongated canines with a pair of pliers. All in an attempt to beat or pull 'the devil' out of him. Another set of memories has Victor's father as a mean and abusive, booze-swilling grounds keeper to a wealthy family. In both scenarios, his feelings of hatred towards his father were the same. And in both scenarios, an adolescent Victor was thrilled that the bastard got what was coming to him; a painful death. The time between adolescence and adulthood are a blur to Victor. By choice or by force, he doesn't know. But he does remember the wars. How could he forget? Bullets flying, blood spilling, people dying...most of which happened by his own hands. Those were good times for Victor. During those years, he found himself in the employ of the government. He doesn’t remember when he joined the military, but he’s sure that he was military at some point in time. Part of a black ops squad. Going by the codename of “Sabretooth” by this point in time; one of his most vivid memories was sometime in the 1960’s, when he was assigned as a bodyguard to a German spy named Leni Zauber. The two were intimate until Zauber’s death. However, it wasn’t until years later did Victor discover that the woman was really Mystique and she was very much not dead. And that they’d had a son. A very human son. The next phase of Creed’s life saw him drafted, by choice or by force he doesn’t remember, into the Weapon X program. Alongside other recruits, he was subjected to testing, experimentation elaborate brain-washing and memory tampering. Sabretooth worked as an operative in the Weapon X program for several years until one by one operatives began to go rogue and the program was seemingly dismantled. After going rogue from Weapon X, Sabretooth did what he does best. He began a lucrative career as a mercenary, assassin, terrorist and general hired muscle. He traveled the world honing his already deadly skill set, developing a vicious reputation and generally making enemies everywhere he went. Over time, Sabretooth's mental state began to change. His lack of control over his own bloodlust and murderous impulses began to concern even him. He found a temporary, and addictive, fix in a telepath who was able to provide a "psychic sedative." And for awhile, he was able to balance his logical mind with his animalistic side. But the arrangement was cut short by the telepath's death. And Sabretooth began to devolve mentally. It was during this time that he met and joined up with Magneto's Brotherhood. With his mind in the state that it was, Sabretooth was more animal than man with barely any idea of who he was. But even as he was, he recognized that Magneto talked a good game about his stance on mutant superiority. And he figured if anyone could help him get his mind back into working order, Magneto could. But things don't always go according to plan. After the Brotherhood's plot against humanity on Ellis Island ended badly, Creed woke up in the custody of Weapon X scientists in Canada. Apparently the program hadn't been dismantled and they'd been keeping an eye on him for years. Creed was offered a position as an operative and a recruiter. In exchange, his regenerative capabilities were enhanced, a portion of his memories were restored and his skeleton was bonded with adamantium. He felt like a new man. Although seemingly in control of himself, Sabretooth was just as cruel and vicious as ever. He was constantly being admonished for killing targets that he was supposed to capture and disturbing new recruits with his sadistic nature. After a while, he'd had enough of "playing soldier" and went rogue from the program again. Falling back into mercenary/assassin work, Sabretooth's travels took him to Japan where he garnered the attention of The Hand. From their shado, he watched with disgust as the mutant "cure" made its debut. But it was the defeat and subsequent disappearance of Magneto and Mystique that piqued his attention. Sabretooth decided that it was time to return to the US. Because he's a wanted criminal, in multiple countries, Sabretooth has endeavoured to keep something of a low profile, for the past few years. As much as possible for someone like him, at least. While he has been working freelance for various clandestine organizations and individuals, he has also been watching and waiting. And hunting for the whereabouts of his former Brotherhood associates; curious to see if the band will be getting back together in light of all the changes in the world.
