El!
El has been with the site for nearly two years now and has continued to prove her value. Currently, she is heading up our site event, Battle for Liberterram, on top of keeping up with her own personal plots.
CHARACTER
SPOTLIGHT
Peggy Carter!
Lux's posts are all wonderful to read. She has done a wonderful job of grasping the new universe and incorporating Peggy into it.
CHARACTER
SPOTLIGHT
Peter Parker!
It's good to see Spidey back on the site. Watching him deal with the universe shift in his own snarky way has been nothing short of entertaining.
THREAD
SPOTLIGHT
Eight O'Clock on the Dot!
El and Lux are making magic in this thread. Straight up fireworks, and the way they've played with drawing out the reveal is top class.
This thread will include information on our many shop items and badges on the site so that there is a one-stop place to get info on all the nifty things you can get tacked to your profiles.
To get to the Shop, you will see a link in the menu below the banner. Items are divided into Site Perks, Event Perks, and Character Perks according to what they effect. They can be purchased with the money you earn posting around the site.
2 Week Plot Promotion - Any person who purchases this may PM S.S.A. Erin or R. Dani to have a wanted ad, sub-plot or character plot page turned into a site-wide, stickied announcement for two weeks. After the initial purchase and PM, the item will be revoked at the end of the two week period. Promo can be purchased again as often as needed.
Extra Character - Have you made four characters, but want another? Are all your characters caught up and active? Purchasing this on any of your accounts allows you to make a fifth character. If you wish to make a sixth, you must purchase the token from the same account. Currently, max character count is six with two of these.
Extra Extra Character - Have you made six characters, but want another? Are all your characters caught up and active? Purchasing this on the same account your extra character tokens are on will grant you the ability to have a seventh and eighth character. Currently, max character count is eight with token assistance.
House Token - The character account who owns this token is permitted a house thread on the board. If the house board does not keep up with the activity requirements outlined in S.H.I.E.L.D. Financial Services the token will be revoked and the board removed.

Power of Veto - Reward Item! Any time S.H.I.E.L.D. arranges the teams, a character in possession of this token can opt out of the generated team and be rolled into another one! Veto tokens allow a single character to pick two teams they would prefer to be in, and a random generator will choose it for them - the Veto Token is then revoked.
Veto Tokens are awarded in site contests and specified events. These tokens are non-transferable, meaning you cannot trade them to another character - not even one of your own! So choose wisely who in your arsenal gets this fancy trick in their pocket!
Fae Level Up - Reward Item!
For Dark Elf characters only, this token allows a practitioner of the Fae Arts to choose a new skill to add to their arsenal. Once the skill is chosen, a staff will add it to the character's accepted profile. This item is not revoked but stays on the character so that the increased power is easily recognized by newcomers and old folk alike. This token is non-transferable, so no other Dark Elf character but the one who earned it may keep it. These items are earned through character development in game, as well as events.
Mutant Level Up - Reward Item!
For Mutant characters only, this token allows a mutant to choose a limitation to remove from their power description. Once the limitation is chosen, a staff will remove it from the character's accepted profile. This item is not revoked but stays on the character so that their increased power is easily recognized by newcomers and old folk alike. This token is non-transferable, so no other mutant character but the one who earned it may keep it. These items are earned through character development in game, as well as events.

Weapon Upgrade - 250 Any time Mortal Ends runs an event where dice rolling and randomizers come into play to determine your character's fate, having one of these in your pocket could really make your day! A weapon upgrade allows you to re-roll your damage in the event of a miss or insubstantial strike. Careful though, because in a re-roll, chances of the results being in your favor are always chancy! Alternatively, it will allow you to retake the randomizer if you dislike the result!
One use only.
Armor Upgrade - 250
Any time Mortal Ends runs an event where dice rolling and randomizers come into play to determine your character's fate, having one of these in your pocket could really save your bacon! An armor upgrade allows you to re-roll in the event that you take damage in order to lessen the severity of your characters injuries! Careful though, because in a re-roll, chances of the results being in your favor are always chancy! Alternatively, this will allow you to retake the randomizer if you dislike the result!
One use only.
Emergency Helicopter - Reward Item!
Any time Mortal Ends runs an event where dice rolling and randomizers come into play to determine your TEAM'S fate, having one of these in your pocket is pretty much deus ex machina if you know what I'm saying! In the event that a team is falling behind, is trapped, has too many damaged allies, anyone on the team with one of these can return it to the staff in order to have MINI EVENT come in and pull the team out of the wreckage and into safety! The best part of it is, your team's event is counted as complete, and you will all still be rewarded.
So what's the downside? Well, you have to earn them, for one thing - the contests for these bad boys will be all kinds of crazy! They are obtainable - thing is, once you win one, you cannot participate in an event for another one for three rounds. Meaning you need to wait for three events for these puppies to pass before you can try and snag your next one.
