[PTabbedContent][PTab=GENERAL] CHARACTER INFO: NAME: Sharon Smith ALIAS: Catseye AGE: 19 OCCUPATION: Catguard?? MEMBER GROUP: Villain, Mutant, Canon AFFILIATIONS: N/A POWERS AND ABILITIES: Sharon is capable of transforming at will into three different forms (not including her normal form as a human), all of which are feline in nature or strongly resemble felines with purple fur. The side effects of this mutation has also caused changes in her human form, having naturally lavender colored hair, yellow, cat-like eyes, pointed ears, and possessing a cat tail as well. Despite the outer appearance, she still functions as a normal human, aside from having superior nightvision and enhanced agility. Housecat: She can turn into an average-sized, sleek furred housecat, still retaining that purple fur and yellow eyes. Sharon has all the same abilities that a regular cat would, and the only real difference is that she keeps all of her human memories and intelligence while in this form, albeit her mind does become more feral and her thoughts aren’t as easily organized. Panther & Hybrid: Sharon has the ability to turn into a large panther, as well as a hybrid between a panther and a human. Very similar to the werewolf myth, she becomes larger, standing around 6’5”, gaining mostly feline features (and fur), as well as claws, thick corded muscle, and about everything else you’d expect. Her strength, senses, agility, and just about everything become enhanced as well. Strength: In both her panther and hybrid form, she can lift/pull/etc approximately 1000 lbs with ease, and if straining herself could potentially lift about 1 ton if necessary, and is naturally slightly stronger in her hybrid form. Senses: Her smell, eyesight, hearing, and even taste change when she transforms, being much more sensitive and on par with what a panthers would be. Agility/Reflexes: Catseye’s natural reflexes, agility, and reaction time are enhanced, being faster and lighter on her feet in these forms, and certainly quicker than any normal human could hope to be. Claws: She has large, powerful claws that combined with her strength can easily tear through flesh and bone, as well as wood, stone to an extent, and even weak or flimsy metals. She also has some ability to use them to climb up things, depending on the angle and what she’s trying to climb is made out of. If there’s either enough space to sink her claws in or the material is weak enough to give way, she can easily scale up a wall. Healing Factor: While arguably extremely minor, she does heal slightly faster than others. Small cuts and bruises go away within a day or two, open wounds clot faster, and they are less likely to become infected. Still, anything major will take time to heal, such as severe gashes, broken bones, etc. Intelligence: While relevant in all forms, in is still unclear if her intelligence is due to her mutation or if she is merely a prodigy (the former seeming more likely). She has the uncanny ability to learn at amazing speeds, easily retaining information, and if given a proper education and having the motivation, she could become a genius in her own right. PLAYBY: Madeline Rae Mason OOC INFO: PLAYER NAME: Query AGE: 20s GENDER: Lady TIMEZONE: EST OTHER CHARACTERS: Had a few once upon a time, now just the one CLAIMS: FACE CLAIM: Mason, Madeline Rae as Sharon Smith WHO PLAYS WHO: AGENT QUERY
Sharon Smith - 19 - Villain
JOB CLAIM: N/A [/PTab][PTab=ASSESSMENT] PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT: LIKES: [*] Snuggling: Personal space is a concept Sharon loosely understands, and enjoys to cuddle up with someone she likes and trusts. [*] Freedom: She is used to being able to go where she wants, when she wants. [*] Naps: Sharon very rarely gets 8 hours of rest, instead taking multiple naps throughout the day, and ultimately probably sleeping more than she would if she just slept for a full 8 hours like a normal person. [*] Food: Growing up as a homeless stray, she enjoys eating, and tends to be rather possessive of her food, to the point of over eating just so someone else can't have it. [*] Dancing: While a new concept for her, she enjoys the grace and fluidity that can be expressed in dancing, and loves to go out to clubs or parties to show off, or even just dance at home alone. DISLIKES: [*] Responsibility: She's still getting used to the idea that people have certain expectations for her, and that not meeting them will displease them. She especially hates disappointing people she cares about, so she'd rather have no responsibility at all so she could avoid the whole thing in the first place. [*] Deception: While she can understand the occasional necessity for being deceitful, she does not care to be lied to, even if they're well intentioned. Her straightforward nature makes even white lies a bit hard for her grasp. [*] Confined Spaces: While not claustrophobic, the idea of being trapped or otherwise unable to freely explore causes her anxiety just thinking about it. [*] Cigarettes/Cigars: While she has no inherent aversion to people who do smoke, she hates the smell, and will actively cover her nose or leave if someone lights up around her. [*] Scented Soaps/etc: Sharon doesn't like to use anything that has a strong scent that covers up her natural one, including shampoo/conditioner, lotion, deodorant, and so on. STRENGTHS: [*] Loyal: Once someone gains her trust and she becomes friends with them, Sharon would do almost anything to help them, even at her own peril. She is extremely protective of those she cares about, to a fault even, and would do just about anything for them, even if she did not agree with it. She takes any aggressions or threats to her friends very seriously, and is liable to retaliate in turn--typically very violently. [*] Intelligent: Despite her lack of schooling, she is extremely smart, and learns at an astounding rate. Whether this is due to her mutation or not is unclear, but once she learns something it tends to stick, and she rarely forgets anything she's taught. [*] Adaptable: Changes in environment, even drastic ones, don't bother her that much. She's quick on her feet, and it's nearly impossible to pull the rug from under her, and even then she tends to manage to land gracefully. [*] Independent: Growing up more or less on her own, Sharon had to learn to fend for herself. While she enjoys the company of others, she is by no means dependent on them for survival, and is a very capable individual despite still being rather young by human standards. [*] Carefree: Things don't tend to bother her very much, having a naturally relaxed nature most of the time that can lend to her easily making friends (if they can get past her quirks), not even flinching in situations that would leave most people extremely uncomfortable. Whether it's just in her nature or due to her ignorance is unclear, but she seems to manage to stay collected in most situations, even when she's angry. WEAKNESSES: [*] Amoral: The lines between right and wrong tend to be really blurry for her, never really being taught a distinction between the two. She would hardly bat an eye at murder, so long as it wasn't anyone she knew, and doesn't feel particularly bad about killing anyone herself. She is not malicious, and probably wouldn't condone it in some cases, but at the same time probably wouldn't feel that inclined to stop it either. [*] Petty: She tends to hold grudges, and can be rather vindictive if someone manages to rub her the wrong way, even if it was over something trivial. While she may forgive the individual, she will most likely never forget, and won't hesitant to bring it up if they do something else to wrong her. [*] Ignorant: While not really by choice, she spent most of her time living on the streets, and as a cat no less, so she can be somewhat naive about many things, and doesn't know things that would be common knowledge for others. [*] Clingy: She can become very attached to people, and tends to become very afraid of losing the few individuals she is actually close to. Almost irrationally so, she believes that inevitably everyone will abandon her, and when the mood strikes her particularly hard she'll become someone's shadow and refuse to leave their side, convinced if she does they'll disappear. [*] Offhand: Sharon has a habit of being rude without even realizing she's doing it, talking to people dismissively, or giving curt answers to questions, if she chooses to answer them at all. She says or asks inappropriate things, and typically doesn't understand why people get upset with her afterward either. GOALS: Family: While not necessarily in the sense she wants to start a family and have kids, she does want to be part of a family, no matter how big or small, or even messed up, so long as she feels cared for and loved she'll be content. Socializing: She isn't very good at relating with other people, and tends to offend them without meaning to or even understanding what she did wrong, and wants to become better at least knowing why someone is upset with her, especially since people seem to get even more upset when she's clueless about her faux pas. FEARS: Sharon is terrified of being abandoned like she was as a child, and internally worries that there is something intrinsically wrong with her that makes people not want to be around her or that makes her unlovable. OVERALL PERSONALITY: Sharon is a complicated individual, having not been raised by humans for very formative years of her life, and therefore coming off as rather eccentric or socially awkward a lot of the time. While initially her cool and unflappable demeanor seem like a good thing, it doesn’t take long until it becomes tiresome, especially to those who don’t know about her past. Her communicative skills are lacking, and when she does talk, she usually says the wrong thing, still learning how to approach situations in a way that’s deemed acceptable by society. No topic is off-limits in her mind unless clearly stated otherwise, and even then she doesn’t fully understand why talking about certain things upsets people so much, being a fairly candid person herself and not being bothered by mere words most of the time. She is also prone to asking a lot of questions, and typically ones that should be common knowledge, making her come off as a bit vague at times. Once she decides she likes or trusts someone, she’s extremely physically affectionate, constantly holding onto them, leaning on them, or otherwise just being in close proximity, though if she decides she doesn’t like someone the exact opposite is true. Any attempts to get too close, or god forbid, actually touch her will be met with curt words and Sharon quickly pulling away, and she’s even caught herself hissing at people before (something that gets strange looks when you’re a human). She has no qualms with plainly telling someone she doesn’t like them, and even listing off why, no matter how silly or petty the reasons may be. While Sharon is not necessarily a bad person, it’d also be a stretch to call her a good person, having a large moral gray area. She tends to live in a bubble that is only occupied with herself and the people she cares about, and everyone else is simply irrelevant. While she would do anything for those she considers friends, everyone else is an entirely different story--while she might help someone out if the mood struck her, she’d just as likely walk by a mugging without even considering to help or call the police. Killing also isn’t something that particularly bothers her, and while she won’t go out of her way to do it, she would if someone she loved asked her to with only minor questions. She is ultimately an extremely nonjudgmental, loyal person once her trust is won over, and despite occasionally coming off as standoffish she is rather extroverted and does enjoy others company. Still, she can be guarded around new people, not wanting to get too close for fear of abandonment. Once her trust is broken, it will almost certainly never be fully regained, or take a very long time to build back up again. Sharon has a lot of emotional problems she still has yet fully realize, let alone began to untangle, and has a seed of self-loathing planted deep inside her that causes fear and anxiety of being left alone again. [/PTab][PTab=HISTORY] INFINITY ENDVERSE: BIRTHPLACE: New England, Manhattan RESIDENCE: Has an apartment in NYC PARENTS: Her parents abandoned her when she was a toddler, and their names are lost to memory, if she ever knew them at all. SIBLINGS: Unknown. IMPORTANT RELATIVES: N/A IMPORTANT PERSON: N/A OVERALL HISTORY: Sharon had a normal home and family for the beginning of her life, though she hardly remembers anything from it, but things drastically changed when she was about five years old and her mutation manifested full-force. All her memories are a faded whirlwind, though Sharon can distinctly remember her parents devastation at the sudden change in her appearance, and the warmth leaving their voices and eyes whenever they looked at or talked to her. Shortly afterward, her mother took her on a long car ride to a neighborhood she’d never seen before, walked her into an unfamiliar, decrepit house (that she now realizes was abandoned), and told her to wait for her there and handed her crayons and a coloring book to distract her. Hours passed, but her mother never returned, and soon the sun dipped low in the sky and the temperature started to drop. Cold, hungry, and alone Sharon huddled herself into a corner and started to cry for her mother, but instead was greeted by a stray feline who had been attracted by her whimpering. One moment, Sharon was a sobbing little girl scared half to death, and the next she was a small, feeble kitten mewling for comfort and seeing the world very differently. Whether out of pity, or perhaps instinct, the cat took her in, already having a litter of her own but seemingly content to add another to it. From then on Sharon became more cat than human, the stray feline taking care of her even well after she should’ve been an adult in cat years, and she grew up learning things a cat needed to know to survive. The girl even became convinced she was a cat, at least to an extent, though she was aware of her ability to shift between forms, typically using it to scare away anyone that wanted to harm her or her feline mother. She was, ultimately, very feral and untrusting of humans, and would bite anyone that tried to grab her--which happened quite a lot, considering she had lavender colored fur which intrigued quite a few people. As the years passed, she grew bigger and stronger, and was constantly by her mother’s side even as the cat had more litters, taking on the task of guarding them when her mother was away, or keeping them warm if it was particularly cold. All things come to an end though, and eventually old age caught up with the cat she mentally associated as her mother and protector, and she passed on when Catseye was approximately fifteen years old. It was a jarring experience, suddenly having the one constant in her life taken away, especially since she retained her human intelligence and emotions, not entirely sure how to cope with the situation. After that, life became more about survival than anything else, even carving out “territory” for herself in the streets and alleys among the other strays. She lived a primarily solitary life for a few years, only occasionally enjoying the company of other cats (specifically her siblings), and still not letting humans get anywhere near her, though she started to observe them more from afar. She had a vague recollection that, perhaps at one time, she had been like them, but those were just distant memories, and her intrigue was nothing more than that, making sure to keep a safe distance from people. Her life was once again disrupted when a car swerved, whether accidentally or on purpose, and hit her. Everything was a bloom of pain, Sharon being disoriented and terrified, and she doesn’t remember much of the incident or the days afterward until she woke up surrounded by unfamiliar sights, sounds, and smells. She was in a crate, her leg bandaged and mind foggy, and spent most of the night meowing loudly in her cage. A woman had apparently rescued her, but despite this fact Sharon refused to let her get close, snarling and growling and hiding whenever fresh food and water was given to her. As the instinctive fear dissipated, the feline soon realized the woman was only trying to help her, and slowly began to warm up to the human, and began to explore outside of the safety of her crate. The next few weeks of healing were luxurious ones, and she became accustom to the woman’s presence and schedule, greeting her when came home and stealing her food if she left it unguarded for even a moment. Sharon was grateful for being saved and taken care of, after all she knew strays typically did not survive after getting injured as severely as she had, and felt she owed the human a debt. One Sharon soon more than paid--despite not really knowing much human speech, she could still understand their body language well enough, and when one was being threatened by another, so when a man made the mistake of pulling a gun on the woman while she was in the room, he was in for quite the surprise. The small, not-quite adult housecat became much bulkier, the size of a very large, very angry panther, and before he could properly react to the situation Sharon had pounced on him. She didn’t release the grip on his neck until he stayed limp for a good thirty seconds, before coming face-to-face to the most surprised “pet” owner ever. She then had the urge to do something she hadn’t done in years, and with some discomfort and awkwardness, Sharon changed her form once again, though this time to her original human form. After that things became a lot of attempted conversations, confusion, blood tests, multiple people seeing her (mostly to try and help “civil” her, as well as teach her). Despite the initial overwhelmingness of it all, Sharon was astoundingly bright, and picked up on things faster than anyone would have expected. A year later, and she’s fluent in English (though some words still evade her), can read, write (poorly), and is still learning other skills such as math, science, and history, at least enough to get by in the world. She now knows the woman who saved her as Felicia Hardy, and is unwaveringly loyal to her, working and learning under her, though she sees her as more of a sister and caregiver than a boss. Sharon has been informed her birth parents are still alive, and reported her missing all those years ago (claiming she had been kidnapped), though she cares little about those details now, content to stay where she is.
